Jack Daniel barrel aged variant, circa 2002.
Pours clear mahogany with a half inch head of beige. Nice retention with minor lacing. Boozy figs and raisins in the nose. Medium bodied with a creamy, slick mouthfeel. Sweet malt with whiskey undertones on the palate. Finishes warming on the throat with lingering plump malt and whisky.
Held up amazing for almost 20 years.

I probably know the last place in New Hampshire where one can get this beverage from the now closed Castle Springs. Poured a nice dark amber. It aged nicely, with a great wine "fruity" taste. The ABV was barely noticeable. This little time castle was worth the drink.
