On a recommendation from a friend, I stopped in here while in town on business...
Laid out like a German beer hall...honestly, I was a little disappointed in the German beer selection...some Spaten, a Paulaner option, some Warsteiner....a few local offerings as well... the vibe is definitely the best part of the place...
Waited forever and a day on food...it was semi busy...service was fairly inattentive and slow...
Would this be a must stop in Little Rock ? Nope...

Fun place downtown. Huge outdoor area with games. The food is very good although the menu is a bit small. Pretty large beer selection with lots of German choices. Only complaint is the service is always slow no matter how busy they are.

Lots of good beer, and you can’t go wrong with any of the food. Kind of loud but still a good atmosphere.

A brand new German themed beer hall that opened last Spring. I think this is the same group that owns the McNellie’s pubs in Tulsa and OKC. This place is huge, with a huge open inside area. Concrete floors and high ceilings. An even bigger outdoor area. While they certainly got the size right for a German beer garden, it also has the American vibe with really loud and bad music (mostly hip-hop and top 40 pop when I was there) and tons of TV's all turned to college football. Which clashes with the German theme, and I personally would like a more authentic, less hectic and overly loud vibe.
They have about 18 to 20 taps. I was a little disappointed with the German selection. Only Spaten, Paulener, Frainziskaner, and Hofbrau. While not really bad, just kind of predictable. If possible, I would have liked some more unique options. They seem to neglect the German beers, or maybe it is just an Arkansas distribution thing? Plenty of local Little Rock offerings like Lost Forty, Rebel Kettle and Stones Throw. As well as some Marshal taps.
Food is typical Americanized German fair. Some house made sausages that are good, and a mix of burgers, sandwiches, and schnitzel. All pretty good. Service is fine, they were packed and felt a little rushed but no worries. They were out of several beers on the menu, so it took a little while for me to find something I wanted. While the bartenders didn't give me attitude, I could tell they didn't like to be slowed down, which is understandable.
This is more a mash up of an American sports bar with a huge slightly German beer hall theme. Not a bad spot at all, but I prefer more authentic and less hectic.
