Visited during a week long work trip to KC, just down the road from the must check out BKS boutique brewery.

Smaller spot....don't despair when you walk in and see next to no decent beer....it is in a smaller rear room, filled with metal shelving units and a better then decent array of the good stuff...locals, regional, national heavy weights and a few import classics...worth a visit...you can def stock up on some decent brew here...didn't see any memorable dust and the prices seemed to be on point with other local shops

Small wine and spirit store off of 63rd. The front parking lot has always been small, but is even tighter with the addition of Flying Horse Taproom. If you're seeking draft pours and/or food in addition to retail, go visit the Flying Horse Taproom review page to see if it fits your needs. Brookside Wine & Spirits is the retail side, with a fairly generic interior - dark floors, white ceiling, and enough bottles and coolers on all three walls that it feels a little cramped. Front wall is all window allowing in a little natural light. Beer is tucked away on the far right corner of the room, with a dry room-temperature shelf of large format bottles. A single wall cooler houses a mix-six selection. Through the open doorway, patrons step into the beer cooler which houses everything from kegs and sixtels, to 4 and 6 packs, to a few larger format bottles. Focus is really on craft beer, with local, regional and national breweries all given shelf space. It's a quality selection, fitting almost any need or desire. Great little spot to pick up some beer to-go, especially on the way back from visiting BKS and/or Flying Horse Taproom.
