Six Car Pub and Brewery

 

 

Nice place along the main drag of Amarillo. Thursday night was Bingo night, which made for some entertainment. I had a flight, with the Basil saison being interesting. They do have guest taps (about 12 taps of their own house beers plus others). I really enjoyed the Nashville Hot Chicken. Very nice brewery vibe, and probably the most fun place in the downtown area. I will be back here when in the area.

 

I was quite surprised and I'm not sure why. I guess I didn't expect such an engaging brewery and restaurant. There are two floors with the upper rooftop being mostly open air. The ground level patio is large and mostly shaded in the afternoon by the building across the street. The outside band stand is a nice venue to listen to music.
The beers are tasty and food delicious. The wait staff could not have been more delightful.

 

Trendy brewpub in the heart of downtown, adjacent to trendy beer bar. Large multifloor facility. L-shaped bar seats 15 and numerous tables inside and large patio and roof areas. 10 beers on tap, the 2 I had were excellent. Efficient service. Good food
