this place is awesome, brewery and distillery, fantastic service, great mix of products, and an easy place to spend some time, we went twice in two days while we were in reno! the space is great, modern industrial with high ceilings, metal, concrete, but its also kind of made to feel cozy with some wood, some soft lighting, and a lot of natural light. looks like it rules in the summer, the side patio area was all closed down and covered up but it looks like a spot for live music, another bar, and maybe some food truck parking or something, but no food happening at all when we were there, looks like the outside would at least double their capacity. the bar is a great place to post up, a view into the production equipment is cool, good sized operation. chalkboard menu hangs packed full of drink options, a dozen or more beers with a few nitros, some house draft cocktails too, nice mix of stuff. the beer was just a bit hit or miss, the good stuff was great, the less good stuff was weak, but its a fun mix and there should be something for most tastes. we liked the nitro coffee white stout a lot, enjoyed the black ipa quite well too, and was pleased with a hefe and a light beer, less good were the brett wheat, the holiday stout, and the honey beer. i also dug the rye bock and the hazy, way more good than not good here, and the distilled stuff we tasted was nice too, loved the coffee liqueur! service was first rate, super generous sampling us on stuff, engaged with the local beer community and freely offering solid recommendations, and prompt with our drinks, definitely enhanced the experience. i am excited to go back when we can chill outside, looks cool out there, but this place jumps to my top handful of breweries in reno that we have visited so far, fun hang, sports on tv, clever beers, most of them very good, and spirits for the cocktail inclined. well worth a visit!
edit: just as good a year later, great cocktails, some ambitious beers, excellent service, good vibes. really enjoy this place, good spot to post up and watch playoff football all day!

Small but tall, modern taproom with big retractable window wall, leading to the patio. They had a very good lady singer and electric guitarist that belted out very impassioned singing in the Janis Joplin vein. They have the hard stuff, since they are a distillery as well. I was there for the beer, and had a weizenbock, which is a very good style of beer that is rarely made in U.S. craft breweries, as of yet. A very homey and relaxed feeling here.
