The vibe in here is pretty awesome... old timey alchemy decor around the bar, with a clear view of the brewery and one edge of the bar reaching into the brewery. Definitely designed for mingling as opposed to just hanging out at the bar, however if you want to you dint feel out of place. Part of the bar basically feels lime it is in the brewery. Behind a dividing wall is more seating with games dispersed throughout. At night, light strings are used as opposed to the buildings flourecent lights and it feels very inviting and social, if being social was my thing.
Quality of the oatmeal stout was top notch, sticking to style, with a few personal twists from the brewer, that give it that much more individuality. Bo weird adjuncts where they don't belong, but hops are used in a fun way without sacrificing malts.
Service was good, but the location was a bit sleepy so I only saw one employee working. I showed up when a "golden hayride brewery tour" showed up so it was a bit busy but the bartender was friendly and attentive.
Selection was very creative but only had 11 taps with 3 of them kicked. Despite that I found more than a few styles I would try and the styles that were sold out were either IPAs or pastry stouts which is understandable 40mins until close.
