Pilsner appearance, light carbonation. The smell is more complex than other cheap beers that I've had. This one has a cereal nose with a hint of, you never would have guessed it, orange. The taste is nothing special, just crispness in a can, and you can certainly drink many of these guys. I'd say this is a great summer beer. Overall, I'm impressed for the price. This shows that the Europeans make great cheap beer where America makes shitty cheap beer. Go craft in America, go cheap in Europe. That's my slogan.

August 2023, 500ml bought in Brazil. Tastes surprisingly similar to cheap Brazilian lagers. Very light and bland.

April 2013: 500 ml can, from Superbrugsen, Denmark. ABV is 5%. Golden colour, large white head. Sweetish aroma, fruity and grassy notes. Soft mouthfeel. Bland flavour, medium sweet, not offensive, but far too little hops.

Don't remember seeing it when I went to school in the Netherlands in the mid 2000s, and the only place I've seen it is American Trader Joe's, but it's technically quite an old company name. It's a perfectly good example of a Dutch lager. Drink it if you like that style!

This was okay. Honestly wasn't to great for a lager. The smell was the best part of the beer but once you tasted it, it reminded you of a flat version of a really nice citrusy tasting beer. Not to impressed by this, if anything it's good to try this but never buy again.

500ml can into a pint glass. 2019 date, so 2 years old.
Decent medium golden body. Small white head quickly shrinks to a ring, no lacing.
Not much on the nose, faint floral is all.
On tasting, very drying. A little malt body, faint sweetness.
The problem here, and I dont think it's age related, is that the beer is so drying that a somewhat unpleasant aftertaste is left laying on the tongue. Mouth barely reaches medium.
Overall, well below par, even for this style. Will not be revisiting this one.

Look: Slightly dark, hazy gold. One finger of fizzy white foam with good retention.
Smell: Slightly sour citrus and malt.
Taste: A little skunked. Sweet adjunct malt, almost indistinguishable from something like Budweiser. No hop presence.
Mouthfeel: Average body, not too thin, good carbonation.
Overall: Plain.

I remember this beer tasting better in the early '90's.
It could be that this was early on in my beer drinking days and tastes could have changed. Or not.

Gold in color with a faint haziness. There’s an inch of densely packed off white to beige tightly packed head on top. It faded within a few minutes to a fingernail. The aroma is of faint grassy hops and skunky lager yeast. I’m tasting thin grassy hops, well water and skunky European lager yeast. The mouth is thin and quaffable.
