Tasted from a 5 oz. sampler at the brewery
A - Super pale yellow. White head that falls away. Some lacing.
S - Not much smell - a bit of cereal malt
T - Little grain some malt sweetness
M/F - Watery, super light
D - Not a very ambitious brew. I could see some folks that like a light and sweet ale appreciating this one but not many BAs.

First had: on tap at Big Bear, Coral Springs, FL

Not my style of beer, but it came with the sampler. Clear yellow pour with a substantial white head; moderate retention and actually lots and lots of lacing. Simple aroma, toasted grains, corn, light herbal hops. It's a blonde ale. Taste was the same, light, grainy, corny, soft hoppage, for a mass-appealing light-tasting beer that was light in flavor, but easily drinkable. Good for what it's good for.

A - Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a fizzy, white head of foam. The head was short-lived and left minimal lacing.

S - It smelled of grains, cereal and some caramel. Not a lot going on here.

T - Lightly hopped with a sweet backbone of caramel and grains. There was a slight floral taste, too.

M - It was crisp and sharp. A light bodied ale with a clean finish.

O - This is a nice "gateway" beer. Easy drinking and sessionable. I could drinking this on the patio on a hot Florida afternoon.

This light pours a light (even for a light beer) pale with some frothy sticky lace lining the glass. The head and lace were at least indicitive of quality ingredients, but the rest was downhill. Hardly a detectable scent of grassy grain and this is a smokefree ambiance. Flavor is a diluted watered down brew that left me flat and please note that this comes from a BA who HAS given good reviews to light beers in the past, notably McKenzies. This beer was the least favorable of all. Big Bear makes better. Technically, this is a Light American Ale.
