Braxton Labs

Braxton Labs is located inside the Party Source store. Here you can sit down and sample one of many beers Braxton Brewery has to offer. They have all their current, very unique, special releases here on tap and some of them to buy in cans to take home. Growlers are available as well. Unfortunately they don't let you take home their Dark Charge beers. You can only buy bottles to consume right there and only on special days.

 

 

Braxton labs is an odd sort of taproom located in the back of a liquor store. There's seating for around 20 or so with around 25 of their own taps and another 10 guest taps. They really seem to be hitting the trendy styles hard at this place with lots of milk shakey/pastryish beers on tap. I found their stuff interesting but consistently too sweet (even for the styles) to be completely enjoyable. My travel buddy who is definitely more of a beer "traditionalist" could not wait to leave. In fairness other patrons in the place seemed to be completely excited about their offerings, but that might be more of a "homer" effect.
