It is described in the brewer's website as "the first Polish natural beer". I am not sure what it means, later in the website it says that the beer is not pasteurized and contains no preservatives.

Anyway, I got the beer in Warsaw and the bottle design is very nice in kind of artistic style. It such cases I always start to suspect that all money was wasted on design and contants could be rather crappy. I hope this would not be the case. Also worth noting is the high ABV - 6.2 % is not that typical.

Oh, what a good look it has - clear deep golden color with strings of tiny carbonation bubbles rising slowly throughout the beer and dense and stable one finger head that later recedes to dense white film that lasts till the end of the glass. Dense and slightly patchy lacing. I have not seen so good looking Pale lager for a very long time.

Aroma is lightly sweetish a but nut-like malt with herbal hops, but it has some sharp notes (of something I can not identify) in it. Taste is dominated by nice well balanced malt and I could not feel any alcohol. The beer has pleasant long lasting, light sweetish and slightly warming aftertaste.

Mouthfeel is a bit above medium with a bit less than average carbonation. Overall I can say this is very good and enjoyable beer.

Reviewed from notes taken in Poland over a year ago.

On-draught into a conical pint glass at a bar.

HEAD: 1 finger wide of white colour. Decent froth, nice thickness, not much cream. Above average (~3-4 minute) retention. No lacing adheres to the sides of the glass as the head recedes.

BODY: Yellow colour; average vibrance. Transparent and translucent. I see no yeast or sediment within. Clean looking.

Appealing in a general sense, but not unique or special.

AROMA: Honey, nectar, helles malts, pils malts, pollen. Floral and fruity hop notes. It's quite sweet. Has some light lacto sourness, actually.

I'm intrigued; this is really appealing - albeit mild in terms of intensity.

I detect no overt alcohol or off-notes.

TASTE: Honey/honey malts and a faint lactobacillus-esque sourness combine to make an interesting beer, but admittedly a simple one. Helles and pils malts help fill out the body, and there're some complementary floral hop notes, but overall it remains quite rudimentary. It's a nice sweet honey brew. I like it.

MOUTHFEEL: Sticky and sweet. Smooth, wet, a bit overcarbonated, medium-bodied, slightly syrupy, and pretty thick. It has heft and presence on the palate without feeling overbearing. Suits the taste generally well, without accentuating any specific notes.

OVERALL: It's very drinkable and enjoyable, though its simplicity does hold it back. I wouldn't get it again, but it's worth trying once. Not a bad brew by any means.

Bottle at House of Beer in Krakow. From notes.

A - Poured a golden lager sort of colour. Bright with very mild carbonation. Very, very thin cap of head appears to be more of a film. Left no lacing.

S - Mild toasted malt and a mild grassy hop note.

T - More of both that malt character and the grassy hop. Maybe some honey in there too. Nice and balanced.

M - Mild tingly carbonation with medium body and slight bitter finish. Refreshing but lacking a decent amount of carbonation.

O/D - A better than average Euro Lager for sure. Well balanced and avoids that adjunct element. Easy drinking and good.
