Poured from an 11.2oz bottle into a tulip glass.

A: The beer is a dark gold color with a short white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains Belgian yeast, fruit, caramelized malts and some hops.

T: The taste starts out bready with flavors of Belgian yeast and a hearty malt character. Then some sweet flavors of caramel, candy sugar and fruit come in. The hops presence is mild but complementary and brings some balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly bready.

M: A little crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: A little tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, good kick, decent representation of style, it’s a decent beer but there are better choices available within the style.

Looks nice, with a full head of soapy foam and a golden haze. It does not deliver though: it is branded as an IPA, but the hop profile tends to stay low. It is more like a BSPA, like it is categorized here. A decent one, but let's face it: it fades in comparison to a Duvel.

Hazy pale yellow colour, long lasting foam. No date of any kind on the 750mL bottle. Oh, and it's an oozer.

Smells of bubblegum, yeast, candi sugar, a touch of banana.

Taste reflects the smell but much milder than what I expected. Considering the ample abv. Don't get me wrong. It's a nice drop but shows up a tad under when it comes to value for the money. Worthy of a try.

Pours a hazy yellow orange. Really nice stark white head and plenty of lacing. Aroma is really enticing and complex -- I can't quite describe it, but something like a mix of fresh bread, toffee, figs, and honey. The scent is fascinating, and something about it really appeals to me.

Mouthfeel is nice, moderate and a little sticky. While the hop flavours are evident, they are well balanced with a faint lingering sweetness. Carbonation is fairly light. I don't really notice the alcohol too much, and this ale is not nearly as dry as I anticipated.

A really interesting beer, a lot going on here and my (very limited) palate is unable to discern exactly what I'm tasting. Definitely worth checking out, and I will certainly try to pick this one up again.

Enjoyed form the bottle in a snifter glass. This nice BSIPA pours a light peach color with a moderate head of white foam that dissipates to a thin layer and modest ring with very nice lacing. Nose of apricot, bubblegum, mango, light yeasty goodness, and Belgian candy sugars. Flavors surpass the nose with fresh rip fruits of apricots--sweet and candied in a sugar, light bubblegum, and lightly bracing grassy hops that were undetectable on the nose creating a nicely rounded flavor. Sweet and carbonated mouth feel keeps it lively without being syrupy, and finishes with a subtle yeasty dryness. Excellent.

L: Hazy straw gold head crowned by a persistent 2” rocky and clingy white foam collar.
S: Fruity, yeasty bread nose with some hops.
T: Fruit over soft, yeasty bread, light grain flavors, melon, faint funk of over ripe fruit, with a moderately bitter hop finish.
F: Very creamy and soft on the palate, with a medium light body and medium to medium high carbonation.
O: this has a very light feel for as big as it is.
