On tap at the Corner Pub, served in a pilsner glass.
Review from notes.

Deep sunset orange, visible carb trails, puffy, creamy head that fluffs up above the rim of the glass. The foam was thick and stuck well to the sides in three-dimensional rings. Sheets of lacing.

Perfume-like floral hops, grassy.

Grapefruit rind/pith flavor, moderately dry and bitter, 6/10 on the bitterness scale (personal scale, not IBU ;). Medium bodied and sticky on the lips. Medium low carbonation. Resiny, grassy, and bitter. Some leafy pine in the dry aftertaste. Easy to have a couple, as the alcohol was hidden. A good fix for a hophead, in a locale where you'd least expect it.

Looks good. A nice copper color. Clear with a decent sized head. Good retention.

Not much aroma. Very light pale malt aromas, and just a hint of hop character, mostly of the earthy, slight citrus variety.

The flavor starts out nice, but than you realize...there are no hops. Sure the bitterness is there...gotta be around 50-60 IBUs I'd guess, but what about the hop flavor?....and aroma for that matter? It's totally unbalanced toward malt characteristics and the finish is even fairly sweet once the bitterness fades on the palate.

I like most of Corner Pub's beers, but the IPA is fail, IMO. Too heavy in the mouthfeel, too malty in flavor, and despite the decent bitterness the hops are non-existent in the flavor and aroma.

on tap at the brewpub in Reedsburg. pours a deep golden color with a single finger of frothy white head that stays around for a while and leaves light lacings.

aroma is of lightly spiced hops with citrus undertones and a touch of bready yeast in the background. nicely composed in the nose.

taste is more of the same with a fresh and hoppy character and a dry finish of residual hop oils. pleasant.

mouthfeel is medium bodied with a dry texture and a finish of residual dryness that lingers.

drinkability is good. a decent IPA with a good hop quality and a solid freshness that carries through to the finish. worth a shot.

Pours a clear, golden/copper color. 5/4 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of slight hops, mostly sweet malt, and some slight yeast. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt up front, sweet hops in the background, and some slight brown sugar. Overall, a different, but very intriguing beer - I recommend.
