L- Superficially black, but super-deep ruby-red with a halogen torch held behind it. Pours clear with a brief 2mm tan head.
S- Hmmm... something very different... plant-based? ... Aromatic, 'green-smelling', leafy? I cheat and read the can... it describes 'fruit notes'.
T- Initial bright/dark fruit then swiftly into deep and quite pungent depths. Then smokey/toasty. Somehow the initial blackberry (or similar?) and dark/deep finish come into a balance.
F- It's intensely flavoured, full-on pungent on feel in the mouth. More suited to colder months/winter as a slow-sipping beer.
O- Well, it's really full-on. You won't taste much delicate after this one. Big and punchy, in fact it punches above it's weight.
