Side By Each Brewing Co. is a small brewery with a big tasting room, offering frequently changing beers in a wide variety of styles, with the unifying themes of creativity, diversity, respect for tradition, and uncompromising quality. Starting in April we’ll have growlers and mini-kegs to go, filled to order with a nifty machine that will preserve the beer’s quality far longer than your average tap-filled jug. Early in the morning we’ll be making CBD coffee and espresso drinks and selling locally made pastries (we'll fill your growlers in the morning, too), and if you want us to pour you a morning beer, who are we to judge? Pinky D’s Poutine Factory will sling lunch and dinner from their new kitchen inside our space. A few times a year, we’ll put on sweet special events, and there will always be friends and families hanging out, a great community gathering space – and did we mention, awesome beer?

Located in Minot, ME. A fantastic, open tasting room featuring 12 to 15 beers on tap. This is a CSB following the CSA model for produce, basically a subscription service for half and full 64 ounce growlers. They will also sell individual growlettes and growlers. The space is wonderfully open and airy with a full view of the spotless brewery. There is also a coffee roaster in the same space and Pinky D's "food truck" (basically a facade but it's cool) serving a huge variety of poutine, a few sandwiches, and wings. My wife ordered a flight of poutine - choice of three for $20 and it was enough food for both of us but I ordered the Korean BBQ version and it was stupid good. Beer servers were knowledgeable and helpful, pleasant on both visits. The beer was above average, with the red ale and dopplebock being outstanding. The food was unexpectedly delicious and the server was awesome. Out of the way place but worth the trip.
