Bottled on 3/17/14.

Pours a clear orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy patches of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus zest, and peach aromas. Taste is much the same with malt, earth, peach, and citrus zest flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with an interesting peach like fruit quality I am getting in both the smell and taste.

The Look: amber, but a darker amber; the color of amber the bug in Jurassic Park was trapped in, that's the color of this beer.
The smell takes me back to a pub in Sydney, Australia in 1971, just before ten p.m. closing and last shout of schooners of Toohey's New.
The taste is excellent- more bitter than sweet, which mimics life, doesn't it?
Somehow the feel on the palate is creamy, yet crisp; a mysterious beer, but very good. I think I'll have one more.

Bottle served (appearance rated average cuz you can't skip form fields), fantastic brew. Hop-strong for a lager. Aroma is bready, but with a ton of apricot/peach notes. Mouth feel is fulfilling for it's style, even with fairly light carbonation. Somewhat piney from the hops, but super refreshing. Solid brew for summertime.

Appearance - Pours a crystal clear, beautiful vibrant orange with a 2-finger white head. Fair retention, resulting in a sparse island of suds in the center of the glass and around the edge. Lacing is small and spotty with good stick.

Smell - Aroma hits on notes of grain, grass and citrus at the forefront. Subtle bready undertone.

Taste - Hops are predominant, with citrus character hitting first. Malt base is pretty much buried beneath the hop profile, but what is there comes across as either bread and/or caramel. Big grassy bite and some mild lemon pith in the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel - Light to medium body with fair to lively carbonation. Crisp, dry finish.

Overall - Could certainly pass as one of those trending "IPL's" but is being pushed as an innovative American Lager. Eh, marketing. Pretty solid brew regardless.

Clear golden color with off-white head. Aroma is slightly malty, slightly hoppy, seems very balanced. Taste is also balanced, first you get the malts, a bit of caramel and bread crust and gets bitter on the finish. Body is medium and well carbonated. Really well made, easy to drink, crisp lager.

Pours a finger of head on a clear medium straw colored body. Darker than most lagers.
The aroma is quite fragrant: flowers, grain and musty. Nice though.
The taste is grainy malt sweetness with a descent balance of mild bitterness.
The texture is a little gritty with moderate carbonation.
It's a nice, full bodied lager.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The beer has a very bright clear amber color with a small white head. The aroma is a nice blend of malt, citrus and hops. The flavor is a mildly bitter mix of malt, citrus and a hop backdrop. Overall, I found this to be a very pleasing beer, very good.

this was poured into a pilsener glass. The appearance was a hazy bronzed to golden color. A one and a half finger white foamy head started and dissipated fairly quickly. Spotty lacing clung in a semi-bubbly manner. Carbonation was seen rising at a decent pace. The smell had a sweet grassy hop bleeding into light bready/biscuit malts. The taste copied the smell lending a hand to a sweet stickiness rolling into the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable grassy feel over my tongue. Overall, pretty nice India pale lager worthy of coming back to.
