With a refreshingly effervescent carbonation, the tropical New Zealand hop flavors of Tallulah are perfect for the warm days of Spring & Summer. Tallulah pours a radiant honey gold with a fluffy layer of foam and bursts with complex tropical fruit aromas. The candy fruit notes of guava, peach, and passion fruit are complemented by a light caramel sweetness and balanced with a moderate, yet assertive level of hop bitterness.

Almost a perfect 3.75. Nice pale ale, but cannot get excited about it, or fine complexity in it, as I do a Dales Pale Ale - my standard for APA.
A: Bright, orange body of translucent haze. A frothy, lasting head leaves rings and lace.
S: Not enough for my nose. Of tropical orange & lemon with pulp and rind, on baguette. Too faint.
T: Flavor has more of the orange- grapefruit-lemon hops, and it's bright, wet, against a pale grain bread backdrop. Crisp, good food beer, but forgettable. Bland?
M: Bright and crisp. Sharp delivery. Clean finish. good first and food beer.
O: Even 6 months past the bottling date, this still showed a good amount of fresh hop character, wet, and lively on the tongue with little or no degradation. Tangy, wet, sharp drinkability, refreshing summer time pale ale that would hit the spot nicely. I could easily enjoy a six pack here with kept interest.

Deep golden yellow, white foam, so and so.
Malty and caramel smell, and, on top of that, a piney american hop, and some ripe fruit (a bit too "warm").
A bit heavy in the taste too, malty, resinous, fruity.
Nothing to remember.

Had on tap, solid pale ale. There are better out there but this is fairly good. Didn't really pick up on the notes that they use to describe this, it was more straightforward then it was marketed. Would drink again but not actively seeking

Clear golden color with white head. Aroma has sweet citrus fruits and some sweet malts. Taste isn't too intense, just a slight hoppy bitterness. Light body, slightly acidic with a good amount of carbonation. Nothing really special.

-Spiegelau ipa glass. Bot. 05.06.15. Consumed 11.03.15.
A: Strong display of micro-effervesce within a bright, orange colored body of translucent quality. A frothy, oatmeal colored head leaves a solid ring lacing around the vessel.
S: Sweet tropical orange-lemon aroma of good strength, even 6 months past bottling date. Fresh grapefruit juice, with a tart lemon pulp tang on the finish. Nice duration.
T: Flavor had a nice amount of grapefruit-lemon hopping, bright, wet, against a pale grain backing. Crisp flavor, lemony-tropical orange notes.
M: Bright and crisp mouthful with plenty of co2. Medium body, easy and quick off the tongue with a nice leave of hopping. Sharp in delivery, crisp like a good pale ale should.
