I don’t see a canning date, but I know this beer is a bit old for a milkshake IPA now. Still, it’s held up well and from what I remember of the fresh one, has improved in some ways. Drinking fresh I remember it was too sweet and the strawberry a bit overwhelming. Now I’m liking the vanilla that’s still here along with a subtle strawberry. It’s still a tad sweet and as with all the milkshakes, I love them for the first 10-12 ounces and then I’ve had enough. Fun beer to try though and I’d get it again.

I'm not really into the milkshake IPA. I find that most of the time they are overdone and way to sweet and creamy, I guess that's the point though. Anyway this may be one of the better ones I've tried. The strawberry really came through and the vanilla was there too be not too much. It was sweet but not overly so. The was enough sweetness and creaminess to it to let you know it was a milkshake IPA but enough hop taste to remind you that it's still an IPA.

Hazy orange that is completely opaque with two fingers of white foam. Strawberry, vanilla, and slight hops in the nose. Taste has the vanilla up front, with hops and yeast before the crescendo of strawberry enters and stays all the way through the finish, and brings the vanilla back into the spotlight. Feel is creamy, soft, light and has a little hop character. Strawberry can be so temperamental to work with, but this is really well done, hops don't overpower. The wife loved it

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on September 11, 2019. Hazy IPA brewed with over 2,000 pounds of strawberry puree, with vanilla, mosaic hops and milk sugar. Tasty shake.

Released 9/11/19; drank same day (!) at the Yarchives.

Opaque dark orange appearance.

A rough pour yielded a nice, bubbly off-white head which quickly dissipated; minimal lace.

Strawberry, vanilla & faint dry grass notes in the nose.

Creamy medium mouthfeel.

Strawberry & vanilla flavors up front; mild dry grass notes on the finish.

Sweet & tasty with a hint of IPA dryness.

Not going to be for everyone, but this pastyboi loved it.
