From a 12oz bottle. Amber color with plenty of off-white head. Smells of citrus and pine with some caramel malt in there. Medium feel, good carbonation. Tastes like it smells, citrus and pine with some caramel malt. Solid IPA.

Pours a hazy amber color. 2/3 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of citrus hops, floral hops, hint of tea, slight sweet malt, and a hint of alcohol. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. There is an elevated bitterness. Tastes of citrus hops, floral hops, hint of tea, slight sweet malt, hint of piney hops, and a hint of alcohol. Overall, good appearance and feel, with aroma and body better than average.

Picked this up at Trader Joe's, 6-pack glass bottles for $6.99. I would not call this an IPA. It smells and tastes like an amber ale or Oktoberfest. Bitter, but not at all like how an IPA should taste. Very little fruit aroma, more caramel-like. I might buy it again but not if I want to enjoy an IPA.
EDIT 2/1/18: I'm not sure what happened with my first bottle, but I had a few more since I first wrote. Upgraded the Smell and Taste scores. It does smell and taste like a good IPA after all! Fruity aromas with a good hop hit. Would drink again.

Amber with off-white creamy head. Piney hop aroma. This IPA allows more malt to shine through in the taste. Resiny with some citrus and hoppy bitterness. Lower ABV, but pretty good.

Very impressed with this IPA. Bold piney notes with a fairly balanced flavor. It also pairs great with chocolate. For $7 bucks at Trader Joes this is a must try!

Pours a copper color with a nice foamy head and sticky lace. In the nose there are modest hints of tropical fruit. Fruity and juicy taste with a moderate hops bite. Medium to light bodied.
As with other Trader Joe beers, this one although not spectacular, is actually pretty tasty.
