Bought at Trader Joe's in Boston. I like their selection of low price yet quality beers. It was this Canadian's first time at a TJ's, and I will return.
A - Pours a mid-deep gold color. Nice creamy head that floated on top for a few minutes, then it turned into a skim of foam. The lacing was pretty throughout.
S - My nose is not as well trained as I would like, but the aroma on this beer was solid: malt, caramel, some roasted nuts, big hops.
T - Right off the top: nice bitters with roasted malt in the background. Some roasted nuts, although I couldn't say what kind (peanut, cashew, acorns?) The finish is longer than I would have expected, and is quite fine.
M - Good. What can I say, except I like it. It is still buzzing on my palate as I write, and I am only half way through the glass.
O - In terms of drinkability, or would I have another, YES. This is a good beer, especailly for the price.
Love the bomber size.

I will give this a 5 stars all the way. I found this beer by accident while shopping at Trader Joe and seeing an old man picking one up without any hesitation from the shelf and walked away with it, and after seeing the price tag of $1.99, I also picked one myself. Boy, it's so Gooooooooooooooooooooood!! okay. Here are the details. The slight hoppiness or bitterness is very well balanced with slightly sweet after taste, which makes this beer super smooth and easy to drink. Also the after taste doesn't last very long, which means this beer is good for any meals except ice cream or cake in my opinion. The smell of this beer is fruity, malty, and all natural. Baby, it also gives you a good head, tiny bubble foams that last for a minute or so, and it has nice lacing too. Last but not least, 5.7% ABV. One bottle will get you high!! Great value, great taste, highly recommended.

Picked this up at trader Joe's for $2.75 and it was well worth the price.
Just an overall well rounded and easy drinking brown ale. A nice savory nuttiness upfront followed by a malty and slightly creamy mid palate that finishes with a delicate hop bite.
I gotta give this beer extra points on the feel since it's so smooth.
Nothing to go crazy for - but just an all around approachable, highly chugable, cheap brown ale made without adjuncts.

L- Very dark amber with a creamy tan head with medium retention.
S- Toasted grains, fairly sweet caramel at the end.
T- Flat, burnt brown bread, a slight sweet touch. Not very enjoyable.
F- Medium.
O- I hardly got through all of it, the flavor is off putting.

22 oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Dark brown color and toasty aromas. A better brown ale than I expected, especially for the price. Well balanced with the bready, malt flavors.
