Huge sprawling multi-leveled place on the water... reminded me of many an east coast shoreline tourist trap. Upstairs bar and dining area, plus deck, plus dockside... lots of seating. 11 house beer and an assortment of guest offerings. I had the Feelin Juicy which was very nice. Food was reasonably priced but nothing special. Place was packed and service was good.

First impression- This place has some big money behind it. Although they do brew their own beers on site, the place is more of a restaurant than a brewery, the emphasis seems to be on food. I knocked the vibe down to 3.5 because it has kind of chain restaurant feel.
The review below me mentions 11 beers on tap. Well it took us a while to figure it out, but those 11 are just theirs. They also have 20+ tap lines pouring a who's who of other Connecticut breweries, plus beers like Maine Lunch.
Food was fine, service was pretty good for a super packed house during a post-pandemic period where every hospitality place everywhere is advertising for help.
I would definitely stop in here on a trip back form NYC, except only off busy hours. We went on the first nice weather Saturday after things opened up from Covid. It was really crowded, including the bar, the two decks, the expansive lawn and the picnic tables beside the docks.

Dockside is a big and bright, new spot on the water in Milford, CT. It's open and warm inside with a fairly tall ceiling, and of course there's a large deck outside. It's crisp and clean and nicely designed. Inside they've got a little bit of a sports bar feel, and there are old outboard motors hanging between the bar area and dining area which is interesting.
The service is very good, as is the food. Here are some examples of what's available: Basket of Fries $6, Garlic Parmesan Pretzel Bites w/ Spicy Cheese $8, House-made Guacamole w/ Chips $11, Roast Beef Sandwich $14, Bacon Cheeseburger $14, Chicken Caesar Salad $15, BBQ Chicken Pizza $15, Fajita Steak Tacos $16, Teriyaki Salmon Bowl $23.
There are 11 beers on tap and a hard seltzer. The variety is pretty good, but not great, although the beers themselves are. You've got Pilsner, dark lager, red ale, stout, and a variety of IPAs (4 on my visit) and sours (3 on my visit). They apparently have a foeder as well.
I think that any beer fan will enjoy at least one or two of their beers, and as noted, the food is excellent.
