Had on tap.

A- Came to me with a nice 2 finger white creamy head that went down after a little bit of time. Lacing stuck to the sides of the glass but nothing too big. Nice hazy golden yellow color.

S- True to the style I picked up a lot of clove right off the get go with some orange citrus undertones that mingled perfect. Some lemon zest comes and goes. Nice yeasty bready smell that comes through as a whole. There is a spicey aroma I pick up as well but don't know if I like it or not.

T- Big doughy yeast taste right up front. Some bitterness to it actually. Nice clove taste in the middle along with a hint of banana I think with some orange zing to it. Good tasting beer with a bit of funk taste at the end which makes it a little more enjoyable.

M- This had a medium-heavy mouthfeel to it. Good carbonation with this beer makes the tasting more enjoyable. Leaves a sweet funky taste in the mouth that is neither bad or good just kind of different.

D- I was suprised with this beer and had a couple more glasses of it when I was there. I would recommend this beer to someone who isn't a big fan of the style to help break them into it.

12oz bottle served in a pint glass

The beer pours a hazy yellow, thin head that rapidly vanishes. Upon the initial smell, it reminded me of the Saison I had tried the other night but not as strong.

As the chill came off the fruit flavors come out. A lemon zest flavor along with orange. I was surprised after my initial reaction to the smell that I enjoyed this beer. Not one of my favorites, but I thought I might be taking the Belgian Whites off my list, but this will get me to try more. I would let this sit out a bit from the fridge before drinking, it became more enjoyable and flavorful as the chill came off.

The carbonation is tingly on the tongue, and a slight silky texture.

It is mildly sweet, not bitter and refreshing. It peaks my interest to try more Belgian Whites.

Pours a clear staw color with a rather large head and no lacing. It smells very citrus--mostly lemons and a bit of grapefruit. I can also smell some pine. The taste is nothing special, but it is better than most witbiers I have had. I mainly notice a mild lemon taste throughout the beer. After a second or so, the banana flavor rises along with some spices. It finishes with a not as pleasant metallic taste, but it is luckily not that strong. The carbonation in this beer is pretty much perfect, but the beer is a bit overly watery. It's also a very drinkable beer even for someone like me who does not usually like the style. Overall, a very mild beer, but still a decent one.

I poured this into my pilsner glass. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a thick white fluffy heading.Lacing all throughout the tasting.

Smell is mainly of clove followed by orange peels,a slight yeasty spiciness along with a slight grapefruit aroma.

Taste is bit more citrus zesty.Orange peel pucnhes you right in the mouth after that citrus splash. Clove and corriander takes over. Also has a very nice wheat malt backbone.

Mouth is light bodied, but slightly undercarbonated for my taste. Finishes very clean and bubbley.

Drink is great very easy to polish off a few rounds. Maybe a little bit more citrusy then most would want but an easy going beverage.

Poured into a tulip a pale yellow with a finger of head. Can't say the color was all that appetizing, but held into front of a light it turned a beautiful golden-orange, never saw a beer do that before. Very interesting.

Smell was rich with a well-captured orange & spice scent, like a candle in the way it was just so rounded. Some other citrus, a little lemon, slight nutmeg, that je ne sais quoi from Belgian yeast.

Taste was similar to flavor at first, then developed a kind of dryness to it, like a saison, toward the bottom of the glass. Very tasty for a light, delicate beer.

Mouthfeel was nice & active, some tingly sensations. Went down smooth, left a slightly bready aftertaste.

A very good drinker, excellent with food (had this with a red Thai curry). I appreciate that this is very well-made, yet still inexpensive & available in these parts.

A: a very dull yellow hue. very cloudy, as they do. billowy bright white head sits on top.

S: lemon, clove. there is a definite acidic smell here. maybe a little barny. there is an earthy and chalkyness from the yeast.

T: similar to the nose, the acidity comes across the palate in the form of limes and lemons. there is a minor bready, malty backbone, but oh so light. a little bit of ginger.

M: moderate amount of carbonation on one of the lightest bodies ive come across.

D: super light body with a decent amount of flavor certainly makes this drinkable. the tart acidity is a nice touch. from what i understand, one of the classics in witbiers. glad a friend made me pick one up.

I poured into a pint glass to two inches of white head. It is a very pale shade of yellow. The aroma is of wheat and Belgian yeast. I get some spiciness, but not the orange that I was expecting. The taste in some citrus with a little banana thrown in there. There is a carbonation bite. It has a grassy presence to it as well. It would prbably go down better in the summer.

A: pours cloudy like most wheat beers. yellowish orange with a fluffy white head.

S: good nose with floral and citrus hoppy notes. I can really smell orange and lemon zest

T: Great flavors of orange and clove. Subtle bannana, this is a fruit cocktail if you really focus. Great complexity of flavors

M: average medium to light body. wheat beer doesn't do it for me in this category, but its hard to penalize a beer for sticking to its style. Its a good feel.

D: Right up there as one of my favorite wheat beers.

A: Very pale straw color with a nice one-finger white foamy cap. Completely opaque.

S: Very big coriander, a total herbaceous scent. Almost smells like someone is cooking something in the kitchen.

T: I get some coriander up front with that tell-tale wheaty-ness and a sweetness on the finish.

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

D: Highly drinkable.

Quickly poured down the side of a half liter glass mug, the hazy straw-colored brew develops a bright white three-finger head which slowly recedes, leaving clumps of foam stuck to the sides. Plentiful carbonation keeps the head refreshed.

The aroma has hints of bitter orange with spicy notes of coriander and pepper.

On the tongue, citrus and spice are up front, with the wheat following in an envelope of muted hops. Good fizzion in the mouth, but the flavor falls off in the back of the palate, typical of many wheat beers. Mild acidity and peppery tang linger in the aftertaste.

Overall a decent rendition of the Belgian style for a pleasant summer refreshment.

A-pours a hazy straw/yellow color with a white head with good retention settles into a thin lace around the glass
S-lemon,spice(coriander?), hay, low to medium hop aroma
T-similar to the aroma, with lemon and spice but a really nice malt flavor as well. It's not heavy or overbearing but it definitely pronounced. It's almost like a nice creamy oat flavor.
M-light-medium bodied, good amount of carbonation
O-great brew. I really liked the creaminess and amount of flavors in this beer while still keeping the body light and refreshing. None of the flavors outpowered the other and instead had a nice transition between each.

poured from bottle into pint glass; has a dull golden opaque appearance. head is white before disappearing completely. smells fairly citrusy, not much else on the nose (not that i can notice anyway). taste is mainly a mild spiciness, corriander being the most noticeable, with some clove and lemon/citrus zest. just a faint hop presence on finish, with some malts. taste doesn't blow me away, but its not bad. beer has good carbonation, without a whole lot of bite. body is just about right for a witbier, not overly thin but less than medium bodied. i found it to be a very drinkable beer, (a nice one for a hot day) if average in most other ways. not a bad example of the style, though certainly not the best.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle

A - Pours a cloudy, pale yellow with a thin white head; little retention

S - Coriander, a little bready (yeasty), and banana

T&M - Clove and coriander up front, a little lemon tartness as well. Slightly bready with a fluffy mouthfeel, and a light sour/tart left on the tongue after swallowing. Carbonation feels a little light; I generally feel witbier should be "zingier"

D - Easily sessionable, enjoyable on a spring or summer day.

Notes: A little off the style, IMHO, but not by much. There are better witbiers available, and this one is decent, but nothing worth seeking out.

12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass.

This Celis White was a very cloudy beer with light pear juice color. It had a very light look to it. A puffy white head adorned the beer from the first pour and faded slowly. There was no lacing on the glass as the beer was consumed. Overall it had a very unassuming look and I was a little disappointed when I first saw it.

The aroma was a strong improvement, however. It had a moderately sweet smell that was complemented with wheat heft and a mix of what I thought was coriander and citrus. The flavor was much stronger than the aroma and more spicy than I imagined it would be. Still moderately sweet, it had much more clove and spice in the mix with a bit of citrus toward the finish. The bitterness that was there was not noticeable outside the sense of balance created. Overall I quite like the aroma and flavor of this beer.

It has a great mouthfeel that is perfect for summer days. The volume of CO is light and complementary to the thin body of the beer without being "fizzy". The low ABV makes this beer preeminently sessionable, and the all of the factors of feel and flavor really make it very easy drinking brew.

I like this beer and I finished the six pretty quickly. I hope to get some more of it.

A - Pours a hazy yellow color not clear by any means with at least an inch of white foamy head.

S - Smells of orange and coriander with a nice yeast smell.

T - Well it's good. I get a nice orange and yeast with a bit of lemon and coriander. Flavor is light and refreshing.

M - Light and drinkable.

D - I was impressed by this. Low 3.9% abv with full flavor means very successionable. Price of a sixer is reasonable too at 10 bucks a sixer. Would drink again.

Pours a hazy corn yellow with a multi-sized soap foam head. Smell of bananas and grainy malts. Taste is a somewhwat watery, banana flavor hits the palate first, then some citrus and spice. Other notes of light fruit present as well, like pears and some apricot or peach. Oddly sweet at first, then fades away. A thin bubbly body with a mild yeasty finish.

Light gold color. Large Head. Aroma is malty, fruity and sweet yet there is a touch of a slightly burnt undertone (?) A medium bodied wit. Malts are sweet and fruity. There are hints of orange and coriander. Rolls around on the tongue with an aggressive spiciness and lively carbonation. Nice. Hops are a touch spicy. Well balance. Lively, bright and flavorful. Very drinkable. Hope this one gets into wider distribution Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
