12oz bottle obtained via trade with CRJMellor. Thanks for the opportunity...

Poured into an imperial pint glass, formed 3/4" of bright white head over the golden brew. Head lasts nicely, and the lacing is hearty and slow to recede. Aroma is very light and generic, nothing much there. Taste is lightly of pale malts to start, with a fruity hops close, and they meet in the middle nicely. Mouthfeel is smooth, and drinkability is good. Refreshing product, this one, but not as hoppy as I would expect for an APA.

Served fresh at the taphouse. The folks at MBC told me this is an organic grain bill, too. A different taste, not as hoppy as expected (and they certainly are pushing it to have three different pale ales on tap). It's a cloudy yellow in color as expected from a wheat-type beer, and slightly spicy more than bitter, at least to me.

This was a really interesting beer. It started off normal enough as a very pretty amber-yellow beer lacking a head. It had a distinct citrus aroma reminding me of beer made from spelt's cousin, wheat. On tasting, I kew this was a different beer. It had a tart citrus flavor and very subdued hopping. There was a faint taste of toasted grain that really filled out the flavor profile of this strange beer. It had very fine carbonation and a thin body.

I had to get a couple of pints of this one because I wasn't sure when I would encounter anything like this again. Very interesting beer.

This American pale has a strong grapefruit aroma and good color. The light sweet malts are balanced nicely by a non-aggressive hop profile with a sharp bitter bite in the finish.
