Served at 47 degrees. Pours a nice head that gives out quickly but leaves nice lace work. Bubbles come fast and furious and quit just as fast. A nice pale golden color.
Has a clean somewhat burnt malt aroma but is not an off odor. Makes it kind of interesting and invites you to try a sip
Same curious taste as smell which I cannot quite put my finger on. Not sure if it attributable to the malt. Little bit of apple and maybe citrus. Lacing is not as noted from the original pour.
Hangs with you for a little while but not overpowering considering the alcohol content.
A good beer which seems to be very well made considering the alcohol and this being a witbier. Polished off two tonight so would consider it a success.

2011 vintage, so rating set to current average.
Corn adjunct aroma, reminiscent of an American lager. There's a hint of peach and pear esters.
Flavor is similar, an odd pairing, seemingly of an American lager malt bill with Belgian yeast esters and a touch of candi sugar. Very easy drinking, for the style and abv, and no noted oxidation. Belgian esters are pleasant.
I like this better than the score reflects.
