Our golden Krombacher Hell is based on a careful selection of special malts and fine seal hops. The discreet note of hops together with our rock spring water, Krombacher Hell is rounded off by a very pleasant malt sweetness in a full-bodied and palatable beer.

16.9 oz can into a Becher glass.
L: Pours clear gold with steady small carbo bubbles, a frothy 1" rounded white head that has excellent retention, loose random lacing.
S: Bready, grassy, lightly floral.
T: Lightly sweet, light bread notes, a hop snap then a big wave of malt in the finish. Light yeast, gentle aftertaste.
F: Crisp medium-bodied with a medium length lightly drying finish.
O: A classic German Hell with a bready & grassy taste and a crisp feel. Fairly malty and easy drinking. It is excellent in its style.

Pours a medium-yellow darker straw colour with a two finger white head, as expected. Very faint aroma on the nose, a bit of doughy malt, "beer" smell, that's it. Big light doughy malt flavour that builds towards the finish, and understated earthy hops. Very clean, very smooth, not super flavourful but very drinkable. I prefer their pilsner because I do like a bit of tension between malt and hops, but this is decent too.

Poured from a 500 ml can into a Weizen type glass.
Pours a golden hue straw with a 2 finger head, this one has carbonation out the ass.
On the nose is very biscuity with a hint of lemon pushing thru, coupled with corn.
Taste very much follows the nose here with a lovely hint of honey and a soft bitterness to finish, i like this a lot.
On reflection a little abrasive In the mouth due to high carbonation but not unpleasant,
Its really difficult to find fault here outside of said carbanation , ticks all the boxes for solid tasty beer, i will defiantly be adding this to my rotation .
A great solid beer, i dont think its quite as good as the offering from Hofbrau(original) but i tell you what ,its not far off.
almost half the price of hofbrau and almost as good. I recommend you try this little beauty if you can get yr hands on it this tastes excellent , but beware this one will indeed bloat you after 3-4.

This beer is NOT my style, but hey! Is from Germany!! That said, this is pretty darn good ... Cold and smooth and a decent "session" brew for the Super Bowl

poured from a 500mL can into a willi becher pint glass. pours a beautiful straw fold with an even more beautiful three finger fluffy white foam head. bright, soapy lager yeast, bready malts and some lemon and grass on the nose. tastes follows with a lot of herbal, grassy goodness. smooth, clean finish. tremendous mouthfeel on this one. lower level of carbonation on this one. this was excellent. i cannot recall if i have ever had this before but i had not rated or reviewed it. glad i grabbed this one as i almost went with PU or bitburger. nice change of pace here. will definitely put it in the rotation.

Great first beer for someone who is looking for something not as aggressive, or bitter. Easy to drink while warm, cold, or freezing. Smell is not overpowering and is quite pleasant.

Canned 5/28/21; drank 10/15/21 @ the Yarchives.
See-through dull yellow appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big, noisy white head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.
Sweet corn, peanuts & mild floral notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Corn & mild cream flavors up front; mild floral notes & faint caramel notes on the finish.
A nice Helles Lager; not a world-beater but I wouldn't turn my nose up at it.

Pours clear, fizzy, pale gold collar with thick foamy head that recedes to nice thin ring. Good lacing. Slight spicy kick. Yeast, sweet aroma. Cereal and malt taste. Carbonation elevated, medium hops. Crisp and light. Good beer.
