Decent light beer. Pours a pale straw color with minimal head that reduces to a splotch or two. Aroma is slight corn/metallic. Taste is corny, but then again that predominates in the style. Really not that offensive, but probably wouldn't have it again.

Bottle at Sabor a Puebla, Puebla, Mexico

A: The beer is crystal clear light yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high bright white head that quickly died down, leaving a thin collar around the edge of the glass and some specks of bubbles on the surface.
S: Very faint aromas of corn are present in the nose.
T: The taste has light aromas of corn, but no sweetness.
M: It feels light-bodied (but not watery) on the palate with moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer isn't very flavorful, but has no "off" flavors.

Yellow color with a fluffy head with short retention. No lacing.
Horrible aroma with predominant notes of sulfur, lemon and corn syrup.
Flavor with notes of lemon, faint herbal hops and sweet cereals. It doesn't really have an aftertaste.
Watery body with good spicy carbonation.
Same as its counterparties, this is made for having it with lemon slices or as Micheladas.

I was browsing the beer options in the store for a party when this brand, Tecate Light, caught my eye. I decided to try some of it and it was really excellent.

The smell of the beer is good, smells excellent, with a hint of sweet grain. The taste was a sweet grain and corn, now I know there is no hops in this type of beer, but it tasted excellent, so no complaints there.

Out of the mainstream Mexican beers, Tecate is obviously one of the best, it is thoroughly impressive and has good taste.

Sampled last night on 7/15/15. Comes in a 24 ounce can for $2.09 from the local Hy-Vee yesterday. Can chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a handled -glass "HB" stein.

Brew pours a straw-yellow in color with a good 2-finger head that dissipates quickly to just a thin layering, mostly around the edges. Some light spotty lacing is seen but not a lot. Aroma is just of some sweet grains that isn't very appealing. Pretty much is said for the taste. Thin and very watered down with a slight metallic taste. Nothing exciting at all with this brew. Light-bodied with heavy carbonation.

it's like drinking water with a slight beer taste (a very cheap beer taste).

Sorry, but this one is one of the worst I've tasted.
