Very unimpressive beer. No real body to it. Pours clear brown with a short-lived off-white head. Moderate lacing. Grainy, straw aroma with a handful of corn. Watery, bubbly mouthfeel. More hay and grain in the taste, and a metallic aftertaste. Bland.

This beer, along with Dos Equis amber and Negra Modelo as close seconds, is my favorite when dining at a Mexican restaurant in the States. I don't think I've ever seen it in resort areas on the Caribbean. It's well-hopped for a Mexican beer.
Great with food.

Better mouthfeel than most Mexican lagers. The orange blossom water aftertaste is noticeable but not intolerable.

Much better than Corona and Tecate, comparable to Modelo and Dos Equis as far as quality goes.

It's a bit on the sweet side, grainy breakfast cereal with a touch of honey and a little apple as well. There is some light noble hop bitterness at the back end which was nice but I wish there was a bit more of it.
Overall a nice refresher after a long day snorkeling with the family. I think the reef squid were trying to tell me something

Look - 355ml bottle poured into a pint glass. Straw yellow in color, clear, and nice foamy head with excellent retention.
Smell - noble hops with some grains. not much beyond that, but very clean.
Taste - moderately hoppy, which is a surprise. hops hit the tongue first, which lingers quite a while. some malts and sweetness detectable after. finish is clean.
Feel - light bodied, average carbonation, and relatively low ABV at 4.7%.
Overall - for a mass produced pilsner, this is surprisingly okay. a healthy dose of noble hops that is quite true to the Bohemian pilsner style, and one of the better beers I've had in Mexico.

Say, hey, this is a mighty tasty cerveza, mi compadres. Been seeing Bohemia on the shelves for many a time and decided to give it a go and happy that I did! Get surprised and enjoy a nifty Mexican Pilsner, why don'cha.

I happen to see this at a local grocery store and picked up a 12 pack. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this beer. It has a nice bitterness to it unlike any other Mexican beer. I wish it was more readily available.

Best Mexican Beer, plain and simple. Bohemia does not need all the marketing as "Corona" all it needs is for you to open it and pour it on glass taste it and you know you have hit the holy grail of Mexican beer. Great Czech pilsner.

Bottle: Poured a pale yellow color lager with a medium size white foamy head. Aroma of light sweet notes with some adjunct notes. Taste is also a mix of adjunct notes with some residual sugar notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Adjunct based lager with limited interesting flavors.

Bohemia Pilsener (Clasica) tasted in Mexico in August, 2022. Heineken has positioned this as a Pilsener these days. Just because the PR department says it is, it does not make it so. I'd say it is tragically mis-classified in BA as a Bohemian/Czech Pilsener. When I asked for this "Pilsener", the server needed to confirm that I wanted "clara". I'm rating as an American Adjunct Lager (AAL). Taken as such it is about as good as an AAL gets. Clear body and creamy long-lasting head. Mild attractive aroma. Moderate malt body with a refined hoppy taste, nice flavor and a good bitter bite. The aftertaste is a friendly reminder to take another sip. I haven't run across an ingredients lists; even if it turns out to be all-malt, the overall impression is of a very well made AAL.

Appearance - golden straw body with white head
Smell - toasted grain, rye, herbs
Taste - biscuit, toasted grain, sulphur, rice, pizza dough
Mouthfeel - medium bodied, medium carbonation, bready flavor upfront, back end is mineraly and unrefined
Overall - decent iteration of a pilsner that falls short of a lot of it's counterparts
Price Point - $1.79/ 12 oz single
