Interesting beer from Mexico. Mildly bitter after taste with overtones of roasted hops and barley, and just a touch of oats flavor. Medium to high carbonation, with a medium white head. I would choose this over many other Mexican brews, for which i think this is probably the best beer Mexico has sent across the boarder.

No head to speak of. Color is only slightly darker than ginger ale.

Ho hum hops in the nose, but a bit floral.

Very neutral mouthfeel, not much going on. Tasted better than it looked. Never could pinpoint the floral smell, but you can taste is as well as you can smell it.

Almost no finish to speak of, which is probably a good thing for this dreadful beer.

Drinkable only in the sense that it really doesn't taste like much. This beer almost has to be drank with something else as there is little flavor. Only a dedicated Bud drinker would consider this a "clasica" import.

Had a Mexican themed evening with friends and decided this would compliment the food nicely.

Poured into my pint glass the beer is crystal clear yellow. About a finger of stark white head fades rather quick and leaves no lace.

The aroma is fairly muted. What I can pick up is the usual corn tortillas smell. Which I can assume is from the saaz hops. Hints of sweet malt and light breadiness.

The flavor is about the same as the nose. Faint corn and malt. A bit of skunky tartness in the finish.

Thin body with a good dose of carbonation.

Overall it washed down the spicy mexican cuisine fairly good and it was hot and humid so it was a nice thirst quencher. So technically it did it's job.

Well lasting head and pale golden beercolor. Nose has lots of hops, but has cauliflower and soapy nose with it. Malts and sweetnes present but some sulphur too.
Taste is light malty sweet and having light/moderate bitterness. Quiet empty mouthfeel, makes this brew a dinkable beer but no highflyer.

A- Poured from 12oz bottle into pint glass. Pours a golden straw color with a thin white head that lingers. Good lacing.

S- Not much to speak of here. I will say that i was in a Mexican restaurant with a lot going on making it difficult to pick up on the aroma. There was certainly no astringent aroma like I usually get with most Mexican beers. I did detect some sweetness and grain.

T- Much better than I expected. Too accustomed to the poor beers that I get at Mexican restaurants like Corona or Tecate. Sweet biscuiy taste foward, hop finish. A nice bite of hops that was quite a delightful surprise. Very smooth. Nice balance

M- Light body, clean and refreshing. Perfect carbonation.

O- By far the best Mexican option IMO. A really nice effort on a German Pils. Will be my go to beer when I am eating spicy Mexican food. The sweetness of this beer really suits well with the spice.

Pours a golden colour with a foamy white head.

The smell is sweet and grainy.

The taste is similar to the taste sweet grains, not much else. Simple and easy drinking.

The mouthfeel is light with medium carbonation.

Overall about what you would expect from a Mexican beer, it's better than Corona but that's not saying much.

A- Clear goldenrod yellow with a 1-finger head and no lace

S- Smell is clean and smells a bit like sweet corn and hard water

T- Taste is semi-sweet, with a nice balancing edge of bitterness. Nothing big, but quite pleasing

M- Light and bubbly

D- Very high

Poured this beer into a polkal glass at 40 degrees

Appearance: The creamy and foamy white head lasted only a few seconds. The color of the beer is medium light straw. There is a lot of effervescence in the beer. The clarity of the beer is clear to brilliant.

Nose: There is a light grainy nose with some floral and yeast. The hops give the beer a spicy nose.

Taste: A nice light grain, with some yeast and a light spicy floral note.

Overall: The mouth feel of the beer is crisp. The body of the beer is light and the finish is light. Everything about this beer is right on the mark for a German pils.
