Decent Mexican lager, nothing special. Better alternative to domestic lager.

This is an ok selection at a wing place that doesn't have much to choose from.

Drank from tap at a restaurant. Thin watery typical to AAL, but they call this an amber lager. It may be endorsed by the most interesting man in the world, but definitely not the most interesting beer in the world, or Mexico for that matter. Not impressed.

I love the taste of Dos Equis Amber Lager. The color is absolutely beautiful and the taste is just as equally great. I’d recommend it to anyone who loves drinking Amber colored lager

12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass.

L - Pours a clear, dark, molasses-like amber color with a lot of bubbles with about an inch of head that dissipates and leaves a classic lager lacing.

S - I must not drink many Vienna-style beers or maybe it was a bad batch, but once opened I got a strong whiff of Juicy Juice grape juice. So, lots of artificial fruit, some sweet burnt sugar, but just a strange combination of aromas.

T - Bready malt, caramel, artificial grape, a touch of bitter hops and slight citrus rind aftertaste with almost a vodka or gin bite to it.

F - Very light and heavily carbonated. Smooth and drinkable with a dry finish. A nice counterpart to the classic XX lager as far as drinkability.

O - Grape juice smell aside, this is a decent Mexican/Vienna-style lager that drinks easily and has a nice balance of malt and hops. Not my go-to but I'd drink it more if it were on tap or when out and about.

This is the only lager I will drink. It's very smooth and it has a bit of an iron taste but I think it's very good. I do enjoy drinking this when I feel a bit cheap to buy my IPAs.

Picked up a 6er. A lime wedge is necessary. With this comes an above-average drinkability but good God I want nothing more than to snag 6 more

Little heavier feel than Dos Equis lager. But it's pretty good. Try some and see.
