This isn't a horrible beer by adjunct standards. While the aroma is not inviting, the taste is decent, hinting of corn. Not much lingers going down, which might be a good thing.

A; crystal clear; very pale gold; less than a 1 finger white head that receded quickly to a thin collar; very little lacing;

S: grain;

T: grain; a bit of sweet malt up front; a mild bitterness on the finish;

M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation;

O: not offensive, but not interesting either;

This is a beer that is kinda hard to classify-- it is not a light beer, yet it is only 120 calories and has a very light feel to it. This is what to drink if you want something better than the lights (bud, miller, coors) but is just as light bodied and tastes good.

12oz green bottle BB January 2018 poured into a can glass at fridge temp 4.2% ABV per label. This bottle was pulled from a closed 12 pack I purchased so I'm not expecting light damage. The beer pours a weird light brownish yellow that is one of the least attractive colors I've seen, even for AAL. Without a nucleated glass, there is head for less that a minute, then completely still with no head or lacing. Smell slightly sweet with some corn mixed in. Taste is a distinct and unexpected honey note followed by an almost tart aftertaste. Mouthfeel is more than I expected at 4.2%. Moderately full with sharp carbonation. It does have that annoying coating feeling after the swallow, but there isn't a particularly bad taste along with it. Overall, good. I've had this beer multiple times but never poured into a glass and dissected it. It looks horrible so the other two from the pack are probably getting drank from the bottle with lime. Not your worst option when hanging out or if you have to be somewhere later.

It is what it is. Not bad on a hot day, when you want something light and low ABV.

** Fairly light borderline too weak. It almost comes back to "not too weak" after a few drinks but then still leaves you wanting something more. Good bit of carbonation. Light to mid range amber typical lager color. Nothing to "write home about".

Of all the Mexican beers out there, this one is in my opinion, is the worst.......but a little better than your basic American adjunct. The commercial used to be funny. The new guy does not compare with the original.

Clear pale gold in color. Smells of corn adjuncts and bread. Corn and bread on the palate as well. Low carbonation and watery mouthfeel. It's not terrible but it's not good.
