For what it is, it’s pretty good. Looks like a thirst quenching beer, smelled like it, and it quenched my thirst.
A bit less malty than I expected, but that might have been caused by the frosty mug that they served it in.
I certainly wouldn’t refuse one, but I don’t think I would want to buy a 6 pack any time soon.

Bottle from local grocery (in August) so this may have been old from last fall/winter? Still pours dark amber. Malt and some caramel. Nothing offensive but nothing memorable either. Light bodied beer with wet after taste.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a dark amber color with a small white head. The aroma is malt and grains with some hops. A decent lager.

Dos Equis Roja brewed by Cervecería Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma, S.A. de C.V., with an ABV of 4.50% This brew pours out a deep brown color with a nice off white head. This brew has the look of cola, now I'm not saying that is a bad thing. The smell of Dos Equis Roja is rich with sweetness with malts , grains and some hops. I like the smell of this brew. Dos Equis Roja has a real nice inviting smell to it. Now for the taste, it is bold with flavors. You pick up a nice roasted sweetness from the malts, and grains. There is a lot going on in Dos Equis Roja. I like how flavorful and smooth this brew is. This is one of the more enjoyable Mexican drinking brews. There is nothing overpowering about Dos Equis Roja, it has a nice balance to it. The rosted grains and malts do this brew well. The mouthfeel of Dos Equis Roja, is rich, bold, smooth and refreshing. Overall I'm giving this brew a 4.25 out of 5. I would buy this brew again. Cervecería Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma, S.A. de C.V. , did a nice job with this one.
You should look this brew up.

Poured from 12oz bottle into a dimpled mug.

Appearance: rich amber-red hue with no haze and a thin layer of ivory foam. I think the color is just incredible.

Smell: lightly sweet with a nice caramel character. Hops are not really present, but overall it's a pleasant aroma.

Taste: really very light flavor of caramel and just a little bit of hops. It's refreshing, but too mild to really grab me.

Mouthfeel: medium-light body but with a huge carbonation yielding a very nice creaminess indeed. Woo!

Overall: this beer's weakness, its mildness, is also one of its strengths: this beer is immensely drinkable. I could easily put away a lot of these on a nice hot day.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a pretty, dark amber color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of toasted malts, little else. Taste is toasted malts, some caramel, mild and easy drinking. Feels medium/light bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.
