12oz can at fridge temp poured into a pint glass.

Clear light yellow golden color, the slightest bit of weird stringy sediment. White head settles to a thin retentive layer, no real lace.

Not much aroma. Sweet corny grain and just a hint of mineral water.

Buttery corny grain, just a hint of mineral water. Bland.

Smooth slightly bitey high carbonation. Watery light mouthfeel.

Pretty much like most adjunct lagers, nothing going on. AVOID!

Appearance : looks like a typical American adjunct lager

Smell: I only smell grains.

Taste: You can taste the healy adjuncty of corn , metallic. the aftertaste is long and horribly rotten. If you drank this quick it can be drankable.

Mouthful: Average carbonation with a light watery body

Overall : This is not a good beer . I would pick corona , tecate before this beer. Just not a godd beer to drank.

grain aroma.

Bottle purchased and drank at Mariachi's Grill in Henrietta, NY.

A Corona knockoff that's a little bit better than Corona, but still pretty offensive.

It's a clear golden yellow, with a one inch fizzy, ugly looking head. Not much lacing.

Smells like essentially nothing. A tiny bit of skunk.

Tastes like basically nothing, either. A little bit metallic and skunky, with some cooked grain taste as well, and a little bit of citrus. Just weak, bland, and offensive flavors all around.

Light bodied, crisp mouthfeel and carbonation.

This one was a stinker, there are better beers to drink with Mexican food for sure.

Poured this American Adjunct Lager from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. It poured a pale yellow color, produced a decent white head, average retention and does leave a little lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of mostly corn- not very appealing. Light in body, the foundation is derived from corn and some husky grain. There is a slight bit of hop bitterness but overall, not very complex, not very flavorful.

bad, but not that that bad. its better than a corona, not better than a pacifico, in my humble opinion. the color is straight piss, it really looks pee from someone that's rather dehydrated. there is a decent head on it though, and with a lime wedge it can look appealing after a hot day of work. the flavor is obviously adjuncty, corn heavy, syrupy, metallic, and a little bit decomposing, but taken in a big gulp from the bottle, its passable in some ways. the aftertaste is long and rotten though, yikes. fine carbonation but a little thick for a beer that's supposed to be a summer slammer like this one is. I usually hold the fruit in all beers I drink, but this beer is really only tolerable in quantity with a lime wedge, otherwise its pretty foul. time and a place though, time and a place...

There are so many beer snobs these days that don't know what they are talking about.

Just because it can be found in a 40oz does not make it an inferior malt liquor. This beer is indeed a lager, so stop describing it as such.

This beer is solid gold without appearing to be too watered down.

Not too much to the smell but maybe it was because I was getting pretty lit up.

If I had to compare the taste of this beer to another beer, I would say it tastes slightly like a Rolling Rock Pale Ale but still not quite the same (in a good way).

It's lightly carbonated compared to other lagers.

The bottom line is that this lager is better than Corona Extra, better than Dos Equis Special, and better than Tecate. It's an awesome summer beer when you are from the upper Midwest.

12 oz. bottle, no bottled on date, just a code stamp which I'm not going to bother with. Poured into a Firestone Walker pint glass with a wedge of lime added to the glass about half way through drinking.

A - Clear transparent typical American adjunct lager gold. Looks exactly the same in a glass as it does in the clear bottle, as you could have probably imagined. Lots of bubble action, virtually no head, just a white foam that fizzles out into nothing within seconds.

S - Sweet corn & grainy malts. Virtually nothing happening here.

T - Wet cardboard water sweetened with some honey. Virtually pretty tasteless with the exception of some honey / corn syrup like sweetness. Extremely light bodied, and nicely balanced. Not very carbonated or bloating at all which is a sigh of relief when compared to the horrible adjunct lagers that are actually brewed in America. Squeezing a damn lime wedge into this thing.

M - Smooth clean refreshing. Not really anything else to say about this.

Overall, a beer that is probably best paired with some Mexican food on a hot summer day. A beer I would probably prefer to drink out of the bottle with a slice of lime rather than in a glass. Crisp and refreshing for those hot days, and with a nice low 4.50% abv you could definitely toss a couple of these back. Possibly a better pick than a Corona Extra, and definitely a better pick than Bud Light Lime or Miller Chill.
