It's ok if this is all you want at the time. The slim can's kinda appropriate, though. So, like I said, Alta is OK-ah.

24oz can poured into Teku glass. No discernible date. Picked up from liquor store for maybe 3 bucks.
Appearance - Large white pillowy pancake batter head with decent retention. Fine lacing and very weak patchy stick. 3.5
Smell - Virtually no smell. The faintest hints of corn and cardboard maybe? 2.25
Taste - BItter almost like tea. 3
Mouthfeel - ok 3

Poured from a 24 oz. can. Has a straw color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is bursting with corn. Taste is corn, light malts, definitely on the mild side. Feels medium/light bodied in the mouth and overall it kind of exceeded my very low expectations.

Pour is golden in color with an initial two fingers of white head. The head was seen sinking into the beer fairly quickly. the golden color was actually darker than I expected yet it is light gold at that. Like a standard adjunct. Look is inviting.
Smell is sweet corn and grain like smell. A bit of that odd paper smell that regular Tecate has. Like a wet piece of notebook paper.
Taste is just like Tecate but much lighter. Does still have that odd paper taste. Has a sweet corn and grain taste. Very light tasting.
Mouth is very light and finish is like a magic trick, here and gone.
Refreshing beverage with very little beer flavor to it. If this is going for that Ultra market they nailed it. Seems like a beer for those that don't really want a beer. Like I say it is refreshing. Just serve it chilled as you can get it without freezing it.

Smells of corn and some noble hop. But there isn't a lot of hops here.
Starts out thin and watery. Some toasted grain flavor and the taste of Seltzer water. Doesn't taste BAD, it barely tastes at all.
Mouthfeel is seltzer water.
Overall far less taste than regular Tecate. Doesn't taste bad, it just barely has a taste at all.
