Served in a seidel, it pours a clear copper with ruby tones, with a small head with no retention.

The bouquet is biscuit, faint caramel, malts and lager yeast.

The flavor follows the nose accurately, and a slight toasted malts note appears as well. Bitterness is perceived after the initial sweetness and it balances the beer for the remainder of the flavor, making the finish more bitter than sweet.
Light body with a watery mouthfeel, high carbonation.

For a BMC beer, this is nice. Go for it if you just want to chug on something mindlessly.

A: The beer is crystal clear deep orange amber in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger off white head that has good retention properties and consistently left a short head covering the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of sweet malts are present in the nose—toffee and caramel seem to stand out in particular.
T: The taste follows the smell, having sweet flavors of malt extracts with notes of toffee and hints of caramel. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a bit smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink, but seems a little lighter and watery compared to other beers in the style. Nonetheless, it packs in a lot of malts unlike most other Mexican beers.

L- Clear brown body, lost of carbonation, fast fading white head.
S- Fizzy malts, nothing to be amazed by.
T- Slightly toasted malts.
F- Light, fizzy.
O- One of my go-to "BMC" beers, much better than most crappy beers, but still way below a true craft offering.

most mexican beers or cervezas if you will, are all basically the same to me: not too bad but also not very good. this one falls right in line with the rest of them.

Like Schaefer's used to say, When You're Having More Than One. Less expensive than others in its class. Not as heavy as other ambers but more satisfying than Méxican lites like Pacifico, Corona and Sol. IMHO better than any U.S. majors.

Over all ok beer. Tasted from a bottle and it wasn't to pleasant at first. Then after you get over the bottle taste the beer actually tasted ok. Also poured in to a glass, 1/2 in head that quickly disappears. Poor to no lacing. Tasted better in the glass.
