24 ounce can into lager glass, best before 2/2018. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, cracker, corn, white bread, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness. Poor aromas with pale malt/corn and light earthy hop notes; with minimal strength. A bit too fruity/yeasty. Taste of lemon, cracker, corn, white bread, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal/grassy/spicy hop bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, cracker, corn, white bread, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Solid robustness and good balance of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Nicely clean on lager flavors, not too fruity/yeasty. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, fairly bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is good. Zero warming as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is an okay pale adjunct lager. Solid robustness and good balance of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Solidly flavorful and not too watery for the ABV. Clean pils malt/grainy corn and mild earthy hop flavors. A fairly enjoyable and non offensive offering.

Clear golden with a nice small head
Smells like urquell, pepper and skunky hops
Tastes very sweet and mild, adjunct malt and skunky hops detectable with just a tiny bit of pepper at the back

Overall my favorite Mexican AAL, way better than inbev's (gag) modelo and corona

One of the best cheap Mexican beers you can grab. Squeezing a bit of citrus in there elevates this beer to eyebrow-raising levels, but even alone it's far from the worst you could do. There's a bit of sweetness to it, as with most mexican beers, but it's far more pleasant and subtle. For its price at restaurants that sell it it's almost always the value bet, and the look of it when poured in a glass is actually decently appealing for what it is as well. Underrated.

Middle of the road beer. Not bad but not great. Drinkable.

12/16/17: 12 oz can with squeezed lime wedge consumed playing Full Pay Aces and Eights at Circus Circus. First time I had this since a teenager. Light yellow straw color, grain aroma, lime helps add aroma and flavor. Mild taste, corn and grain. Light mouth feel, easy drinking. OK in a pinch.

For a beer typically sold in cans, thus avoiding spoiling and flavor deterioration associated with bottles, I have been disappointed with this beer. This one produced one of the worst beer hangovers (which I don't typically have) as well.

Mexican party beer. Which is to say cheap and there. How is this imported? Rank.

Pours clear, pale yellow in color with 1/2 inch head. Taste is cereal and grain. Clean, ok to just above average for the style. Would have this again, but I prefer others.
