500ml bottle production code 23152 into a dimple mug.
L: SRM 2 Pours clear light gold with a 1/4" rocky bright white head, steady carbonation bubbles, head recedes to edge foam, random spotty lacing.
S: Bready malts, a light hop notes, very lightly floral.
T: Gently fruity hops with light zest, sweet apple hints, soft doughy Vienna bread notes, lightly sweet malts, a hint of honey, has a trace of a metallic taste.
F: Lightly crisp medium-light bodied with a medium-fast clean finish that is very lightly drying.
O: An excellent German Festbier overall. It has been severely underrated. It is crisp, bready with gentle sweetness and is very easy drinking. Perhaps on the lighter side. Quite clean and traditional with non-existent ABV. IMHO it is outstanding in its style.

Poured from the 500ml bottle.
Pours a slightly hazy straw golden yellow with a nice 2 finger head.
It smells like bready toasted biscuits and the taste is similar.
Perfect hop balance.
This is on of my favorite Festbiers.

Appearance: Pours a slightly clouded, medium orange-golden color with a massive white head that lingers and laces the glass. SRM of 7. (4.00)

Aroma: Stronger as a pale, Munich, malts, some earthy bread, malts, some sweet, metallic and hay aromas. (4.00)

Flavor: Strong flavors of Palich malts, earthy, Munich, malts, sweet and metallic flavor that evolves into some grass, hay, bread. Slightly sweet. (4.00)

Feel: Medium to heavier body, average carbonation, mildly sweet. (4.00)

Compared to Paulaner Festbier 10/2023: Pours darker, simliar head. Stronger aromas. Less pale and bread malts. More spicey yeast, grass, earthy hay and metallic flavors. Sweeter

Overall: First try at Arcobrau and only could get my hands on one of them. Pours slightly clouded. Has a earthy and grassy yeast flavor almost reminiscent of a hefeweizen. Slightly sweeter, complex flavors. Leans a little hefe and yeasty, but still very enjoayble. (Rating:

500mL bottle production date 23152 poured into a mug at fridge temp 5.7% ABV per label. The beer pours bright very light golden yellow with off white head. The head recedes to a thin ring and single layer of bubbles. The aroma is mild with grassy hops and pils malt. The taste is semisweet pils malt with plenty of grassy hops along with a slight minerality / sulfur note. Mild to moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is thin bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Overall, good. Could stand to be cleaner, but not a problem to drink.

500 ml bottle, production date 22217 (August 5, 2022) stamped on the label. Guess I should have paid more attention when I bought this last weekend. Label says 5.7% ABV. Served in a dimpled mug, the beer pours a mostly clear light gold color with about a couple inch off-white head that stuck around a while. Lots of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like bready/grainy malt, hay, honey and some grassy hops. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some light floralness noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a good amount of soft carbonation. I thought it was a decent enough Festbier, wish I would have been able to try it fresher though.

From the 1pt 9 fl oz bottle in a snifter. This nice little fest pours a clear
honey golden with a modest head of white foam that settles to a thick ring,
thin dusty layer, and displays some nice light lacing. Nose of honey malts,
floral hops, caramel, and grain notes. Flavors are spot on for the style.
Sweet caramel and honey mingle with floral hops, light grain, light bread,
and light toasted malts. Mouth feel is medium light, smooth, refreshing,
and a lightly dry finish.

Overall, a fest brew when you just want a nice brew on a hot day.

SOLID!

Cheers

On tap at Sabatinis in Exeter pa early this evening.

Looks decent. Clear pale golden yellow body. Small white head shrinks to a thick collar and covering, rings of lacing.

Mild aroma, hay, malty.

On tasting, some bitter notes and a strong aftertaste which is non too pleasant.

Mouth close to full, finish faintly metallic and bitter.

Overall, hard to get past the finish. Not a clean festbier.

Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is mostly malty, grainy with a hint of honey and leafy hops. Taste is sweetish at first, a bit astringent, balanced throughout and a bit more hoppy and bitter on the finish. Medium to light body with medium carbonation. Well made, quite clean, typical taste for the style.

Bright yellow golden color with a thin fluffy head with short retention, but leaving traces.
Aroma with notes of grainy malt, dough and grassy hops.
Flavor with notes of grassy hops, bread, mild honey, distant toastedness and a bit of veggies. Lightly dry aftertaste with a low to medium bitterness.
Light body with mild carbonation. It feels soft.
Refreshing Festbier (which is a somewhat milder version of a Marzen, but I understand this is the predominant style now in Oktoberfest), faithful to style which yield higher drinkability. Malt predominates but still does not feels heavy.
