On draught at the brewery. Served in a snulip glass. It pours an opaque, bright orange-yellow color with a creamy, egg white cap and thick lacing. The smell is subdued with notes of lemon, grapefruit, and floral hops. It's taste is tart, bitter, and even a bit sour with grapefruit and lemon but none of the advertised tropical fruit. There is a strong taste of alcohol. I don't know when this ale was brewed and it may be past its prime but the taste is rather harsh. As befitting a TIPA, the mouth feel is thick and creamy with appropriate carbonation. You can feel the 10% ABV. Overall, I can't quite understand this ale. It may be old but the flavor is not as fruity as I'd hoped.
