This beer started it all for me, 17 years old just left school two blocks of 30 cans for $60. To this day this is the only beer I have found that you can drink red hot or frosty cold. It put hairs on my chest, it kicked the boy I was in the face and showed me the path to manhood.

I have tried nearly every Australian and Foreign beer out there. If you are sick of beer snobberry and people describing the faint hint of a summers breeze rounding out to a light Dutch meadow, then drink Emu Export.

Pros:

Cold
Refreshing
Relatively Cheap
Tastes like beer

Cons:

You look like an ordinary person rather than an elite beer snob.

This is the beer for everyday consumption. The rest is for posing, wanking and generally being a spoiled yuppy.

The bush chook!:

It is actually the best beer in the world. Most beers need to be cold, export is far better nice and hot, to get the perfect temperature is simple: place block in boot of car, drive crew to location on a hot day, serve directly from boot. True perfection. One of the rare occasions where cheaper is better, export remains, at certain outlets, $1 a can by the block (stubbies are for poorcuuunts).

As us Aussies say!
'cheer cheer the red and white'
'honour the emu by day and by night'
'put your red can up real high'
'PUNCH YOUR MISSUS IN THE EYE'

You just aint aussie if you dont love this beer, your just as bad as those foreigners that wash up on our shore.

I so cant believe this beer even gets a mention on a website of this calibre what a horrible lifeless beer in the west this is the worst beer you could imagine being associated with it is a lifeless macrobrewery inevention that has no taste apart from water and just smells like water with liquid hops absolutely horrible please avoid this beer if you dont want to be arrested,a big thumbs down.

Appearance - 2.5
Poured a thin, white, bubbly head over a golden body.

Smell - 3.0
Slightly sweet, grainy, little in the way of off aromas.

Taste - 1.5
A little stronger in flavour that most Aussie macros, but certainly nothing special. Grain, husk and metallic hops are all there, finishes with moderate bitterness and a slight chemical taste.

Mouthfeel - 1.5
Slightly astringent, low carbonation.

Drinkability - 1.5
A little refreshing when ice cold, but otherwise it is not an easy beer to drink.

OVERALL - 2
There are worse macro lagers, but there are plenty of better ones too. I'm not really sure who drinks Emu Export (or why), it's just another beer in the bland, yellow, forgettable sea of mass production.

OK, it ain't great.
But if you're headed up to Monkey Mia to camp for the night, there isn't much of a beer choice and this is as best you can do. Bland smell, bland taste, but it is refreshing on a hot day and it doesn't have the offensive aftertaste that some macros have. Try one if you're desperate.

Pretty god dam awful stuff, sweetish, with a faint hint of hops (you've gotta try hard though), lots of chemical preservative flavours in there aswell, not really good at all.
