Thin layer of head. A few bubbles floating up through the clear, lightest straw colored body.
Smells like a metal container.
Fizzy and metallic bitterness. Not a good taste.
Fizzy, but not highly carbonated. Light and crisp body.
Not great, but it's from Australia.

Pale yellow with an eggwhite head

The aroma - Cereal grains and malt

It tasted like a standard macro lager, lacking depth and hop flavor. The after taste of the beer was rather unpleasant but it went away pretty quickly with the next sip (hint you're meant to drink a lot of this really quickly!)

There was nothing overly offensive about this but I wouldn't seek it out either.

Oil can to Fosters Pint (Keep it classy)

Best by March/2013
Thanks to my co-worker Kevin for this one

App- When this pours out of the can its one that pours with a lot of action in the glass and gives a big 3 finger head. Falls rather quickly with a good amount of pull apart and looks a bit batter or soap like. A very clear yellow with a very clear center just see through. A couple dots of cling.

Smell- This smells actually a bit less inviting then the Special lager from the other day. Had more corn and lager yeasty notes behind it.

Taste- This was very corn and adjunct syrup forward. There was a disconnect of the flavors and didn't all work together. Light and crisp but didn't give off good flavors.

Mouth- Light bodied and high carbonation. Very fizzy.

Drink- meh, only because it was free and my last name did I drink another one.

I was excited to have my first Foster's Oil Can but unfortunately I was left disappointed. It pours out a very nice golden color with a whispy white head that disappears very fast. The smell was nothing spectacular and the taste was lager at its worse. I have to say I was surprised after hearing so much from others who I know that recommended it. Anyway, it washes around in the mouth with a weird stinging feeling - not sure what that's all about.

Overall, I'm glad I can say I've had it but sorely dissatisfied with the product. I won't be having it again anytime soon.
