On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a fairly dark golden brown color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like dark fruit, fruity yeast, caramel, stale bread, banana, and toffee.

This feels fairly close to style, with a big bready and caramelly malty character, some banana and vague fruitiness from the yeast, and a touch of oxidation-type character - even though it's a keg and it can't really be all that oxidized.

This is creamy, drinkable, and more-ish, with a great drinkability. You can just drink a ton of this.

I just love getting dunked one. This really good stuff.

It pours a clear, dark red body with visible carbonation. Medium off-white head with little amounts of lacing.

It has an aroma of barley, roast, caramel, dried fruit and plum.

The taste is mostly dominated by toasted malts, with coffee and caramel notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, with light bitterness and medium carbonation. The aftertaste is dry and malty, with a warm, lingering bitterness.

Pleasantly mild and not too sweet. A very enjoyable dunkel.
