Clear light gold color. Modest head which settles to a thin layer of bubbles. Some streaks for lace.

Fresh and grainy -- it smells like unmalted barley. Very pale malt nose. No hop.

A true Helles with a light sweetness to the tongue. The taste is far more malty and less grainy than the smell. Again, no hop. Surprisingly fuller body almost creamy. Equally good level of carbonation. This beer takes me back to the beer gardens of Bavaria. The aftertaste is like a film of milk on the tongue and slightly sweet.

Delicious helles lager. Perfect color with medium airy head. Aroma is biscuity and slightly sweet.Taste is spot on for the style, with a little lingering bitterness on the palate. Not overbearing, but enjoyable...

This tasty was a gift from a colleague that recently went to Germany.

The beer poured a beautiful medium gold, clear with moderate carbonation. There was a two fingered head typical of a German lager.

The nose was interesting, not at all what I was expecting. I got hints of herbs, bread and caramel. There was just a touch of malt on the end.

The taste had hints of that caramel and honey with a crisp malty finish. Nice and dry on the old palate.

This is a fine drinking beer. Nice crisp mouthfeel, which is typical of the style. I don't think they export, so I'll have to wait for my next tasty from this braueri.
