50 cl bottle
Pours a deep mahogany brown, clear cherry red tint when held to light. Head is light tannish white, retains as a lacing.
Smells of fig, cherry, walnut, leather and tobacco.
Flavor is of dry wood malts, licorice, a hint of grape and plum, and a woody bitter dry finish.
Medium body with tingly carbonation on the tongue.
A nice dark ale with some decent strong flavors, a bit one-dimensional there but no complaints with any other characteristics. Really nice body and pour. This makes me want to try more from this brewery.

Full on cola coloured body with big foamy tan head
aromas of cough sweets
Not a big fan of honey but here it stops liquorice or coffee flavours forming creating instead a bit of a whisky taste with cough syrup notes
Interesting
not really my thing but certainly worth a try
