Easily one of my favorites. Sweet but slightly hoppy and just tasty. Goes down easy and is very refreshing. Has a slight botanical taste that is fitting to Hawaii and what the beer is trying to represent. What I dislike is that it's distributed by AB and yet costs around $15 for a 12 pack.

Undated bottle into pint glass. Pours a pale straw color with a thin white head. Initial impression is slight malt sweetness with an equally slight floral hoppiness. Moderate carbonation and quite light mouthfeel. Slightly sour finish. Very refreshing - would be a good beach session beer. Not something I'd go out of my way to find, but vastly superior to the beers that feature beaches in their ads!

Initial moderate head that leaves some spots but as the tasting wears on, the glass becomes devoid of all lace. The color is straw yellow and clear.

Very mild aroma. There's a whiff of hop spice but the rest grainy pale malts. Nearly imperceptible.

Light pale malt start (no grain) but there's a decent amount of hop in the swallow. The body is excellent for the style. The aftertaste, while short, has just a touch sourness. Overall, a decent offering for the style but not a beer snob's typical fare.

This is more of a light ale than anything, but the smell still reminds me of an IPA. The hoppy-ness is very apparent in smell along with a mild sweetness that's also almost botanical. When it comes to color I have a hard time putting a finger on the tint, I mean the beer is clear for the most part but there's also a bit of haziness that hits the eye once you wipe the condensation from the glass you're drinking out of. The taste of this beer has two layers, beginning and end, the beginning taste is mild, no bite or sting but almost gives you the impression you're about to drink a danky IPA. Once the beer hits your tongue is when you realize you're drinking an ale, a very light ale. The second layer of the taste is what reminds you that the beer is a bit on the lighter side, because it's almost watery. Watery is not a negative word, just the best way to explain the after taste of this particular beer. The texture of the beer is not heavy by any means, in fact I would compare this beers texture with that of a corona. All in all this beer would serve well with some good bbq, a good day in the sun with a nice smoked rib stack would help understand the meaning behind the beers flavor. Good beer, would definitely drink it again.
