12 oz can with a 19 October 2019 canning date stamp on the bottom.
Pours with a clear amber colored body topped by a white head that has a near subliminal hint of pink.
Moderate strength and bitterness for the style with more than a hint of hibiscus. Fairly dry with lively but soft carbonation.

Draft. Marriott Maui Airport. This is not brut, whatsoever. There is residual sugar. It’s enjoyable. Can not classify this as “brut.” If this much residual sugar yields the “American Brut” classification, then so be it. But I think that classification is crazy. Still enjoyable, and I would call this beer an American IPA. Carries the alcohol very well. Solid beer. Bad marketing.

this a beautifully colored beer. in light it looks like a pastel sunset. deep rose clarity. it’s also surprisingly tasty. the hibiscus was not an afterthought. it carries the alcohol without a citrus taste. which balances the sip to a delicate point. great concept i hope they keep this one.

From the can, it pours a rose-tinted clear amber with a light head soon dispersing to a thin ring. Interesting scent in the nose. Taste is nice with hibiscus flavor (I guess) is pleasant. Alcohol hard to detect, so it is well done.

Pours. Nice amber color but no head or carbonation to speak of. Floral, juicy taste is nice on the front end but a harsh, medicinal finish kills this one for me.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled very floral with sweet caramel. Lots of hibiscus flavor with sweet caramel and a very mild bitterness.

The pour is a murky orange. I'm getting some of that hibiscus on the nose. On the taste, i'm picking up some grapefruit, pine, tangerine & a little strange aftertaste probably from the hibiscus. They did a good on masking the 8.2% abv. I came into this beer expecting more of a tropical type of Brut IPA. They went a little too hard on the hibiscus, this beer is making my stomach ache a bit. Cheers! B-

I poured this lovely beer into my favorite glass, a St. Louis Blues ice skate-shaped glass while watching them play the Vancouver Canucks. The beer is quite light and tropical tasting, with strong hints of hibiscus and good vibes, reminding me of my trip to Hawaii back in 2017. If you put your ear up to the glass you can practically hear the waves crashing on the North Shore.

Added picture you see
Bought a 6-pack cans Costco $6.89
Smell of citrus and flowers
Clear amber color
Medium mouthfell
Medium carbonation
Light citrus flavors, light bitterness finish, hides higher alcohol well
Overall an easy drinking beer. Only my second Brut IPA so don't think this is really my style, but worth a try if you do like this type.

Poured from a can into a tulip.

Pours a hazy amber/orange with a decent head and lacing.

The aromas are muted and somewhat vague. Citrus and floral notes present but muddled. The aromas are sweet for the style, rather than aromatic.

The brew is honey-sweet on the tip of the tongue, and the sweetness carries through to some ruby red grapefruit and orange zest in midstream. The brew closes with some spicy, earthy, and grassy hops, along with a touch of well-hidden booze. The flavor is solid, if somewhat vague. But this isn't a Brut IPA. There is too much sweetness, and a lack of aromatics.

The brew is medium to medium-full. Well-carbonated, it still lacks the drying crisp feel of the style.

The brew is decent if style is left aside. But if we are rating to style, this is not a Brut IPA.
