Longboard Island Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for five weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

Sampling a cellar temp 12 oz bottle poured into a snifter. The bottle opens with a fizz and cloud of CO2 , pours bright goldenrod with bleached white head giving minimal foam and fading to nothing very quickly. Small streams of bubble rise to the surface throughout the sampling.
Aroma is grainy malt and a bit of light fruit, maybe white grape, a hint of general candy sweetness mixes in with no real hop presence to note.
First sip reveals an average body with fine and spacious carbonation. Only slightly tingly on the palate. Flavor is sweet malt a little candy sugar flavor and some grain. Again not really any hop notes to speak of in the flavor.
The beer is very easy to drink and goes down quite effortlessly. Well made example of the style I think, not complex but not quite boring either. May get a little sweet after a few bottles.

A very drinkable lager with a good taste and crisp feel. Really cool bottle. I would like it more though if it weren’t an outrageously priced AB-InBev beer. Also not even brewed in Hawaii.

Nothing special compared to other lagers, but pretty good. Don't like the price though

The bottle looks cool, it has a unique shape that fits well in the hand, and has the Hawaiian islands on engraves on the glass. Tastes crisp and clean, with just the right amount of bitter, very sessionable.
