Pours a clear gold with a white head that disappears quickly. Smells of honey and grains. Taste is exactly like the nose. Light bodied and pretty crisp. It's a good refreshing lager, but nothing great.

Completely unremarkable. It pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. It has a smell of tomatoes and a flavor that is non existent. It is smooth I'll give it that maybe a good funneling beer. Would not recommend.

Decent look but with a minimal head to this brew. Faint lager aroma with sweet malt dominating. Decent flavor for a lager, bready malts with some hop "spice" is what I come up with. I get some honey flavor in the aftertaste. Easy drinking, light watery type beer.

Gold color, not any head.
Aroma of sweet grain. Not much else there.
Sweet corn aroma. Very faint.
Light mouthfeel. This is the beer to drink when you're thirsty. Otherwise not much to recommend this.

On-tap served in a pint glass at O’glee, Bangkok.

Clear gold straw in color, it comes with one finger of foamy white head with average retention. It sinks to a long-lasting bubble sheet atop and leaves just small lacing.

Mild and very clean aroma with biscuity malt and grain. Floral and some grass from hop.

The taste is based by rich malty profile with its biscuit, grain, and sweetness. There is some grassy hop too but the bitterness is muted and the aftertaste is clean.

Medium body with some crisp and moderate carbonation, some smoothness with a clean finish.

Light and very clean overall, good starter maybe.

The look is a smooth, pale-ish straw yellow with a little haze to it. It's finger-width head dissipated quickly to a thin rim.

It smells like a lager with light, peppery hop notes that are not very strong. The tastes mimicked the smell with a smooth and crisp bite that stays til the finish. Overall quite tasty, mild and refreshing. Would drink again.

Appearance is pale straw. Aroma is mild and not impressive. Taste is much like a mass produced beer that you can find at any corner store that needs to be very cold to help the taste

Look- Good color and carbonation showing.
Smell - Smells like a very cheap lager beer. Calling it "Nothing special" would be a complement.
Taste- Not a spectacular taste but it's not bad. Average.
Feel- ok feel. Light and carbonated.
Overall- The smell is just a little off for me and the lack of head/lacing. Taste was average.

Look- Nothing special except for the crystal clear appearance. Light straw gold color with thin white head, dissapates quickly. Little lacing.
Smell - Smells like a light lager with a slight hop note, hallertau shining through the normal lager malt smell.
Taste- Tastes like a full bodied lager, malty and a slight toasty note. A little biscuit? Not a spectacular taste but it's not bad.
Feel- great body for an under 5% lager, not watery but light and fizzy. Still wanting more body.
Overall- An enjoyable lager that's under 5% so very session-able. The six pack was 8.50 so not a bad buy. Would buy another sixer if strapped for cash. The smell is just a little off for me and the lack of head/lacing. Taste was Average.

A crisp front, medium bodied beer with breads, malts, and grains in the middle that trails off into a slight sweetness.

Taste Rating in Words: It's a boat oar, simple, you know what it does and how to use it. There isn't much diversity in it but it knows what it's meant for and it's OK with that.

This is nice easy beer that is very balanced. It's in the lighter side with some carbonation. Looks and smells great. No complaints at all. Will always have room in my fridge for Longboard. Give it a try.

As far as lagers go this one is on the better side of the spectrum. If you are used to drinking pale ales, stouts and big belgiums then this beer is going to taste a bit week, if you're used to drinking Bud and Coors this beer is going is taste like a trip to Hawaii. It has a perfect balance of hops and malt to make a clean refreshing beer that is not overpowering or offensive in any way. It has a relatively low ABV so you can definitely drink in volume with little affect. American lager beer is a tough beer to rate if you're a craft enthusiast but all things equal this is a great lager - better than it's American Adjunct cousins for sure.

I have been drinking this beer for several years since my daughter lived in Hawaii for nine years. It has a pleasant after taste that a lighter beer might have. It is refreshing and great for any occasion. Awesome beer.

12 oz bottle.

Pours with brilliant clarity. Straw colored with a thin cap of white foam that dies quickly. Slightly spicy hop aroma with a faint grainy malt presence. The taste is thin and uneventful. Balance is geared slightly towards the hops. Finishes clean but dull. A good summer quencher but not much going on in the flavor department.

L: crystal clear, lots of carbonation, fluffy white head
S: pretty non-descript, maybe some bread/crackers
T: pretty solid for the style, low hop characteristic, a little bit of spicy malt
F: Light body, some mouthfeel
O: Good representation of the style

It was an ok beer, pours clear golden color and the taste is mildly hoppy, but not overpowering. There's a mild carbonation feel to it as it goes down, but overall it's smooth and clean. For a pale lager it's ok, not great, but not bad either. It's worth a try!

Had it on tap at Big Fish Grill, Rehoboth DE.
The color was an ultra clear straw yellow with a modest head.
Grassy and lemony aroma, neither faint nor powerful.
This drink was served cold and in a frosted glass; not my favorite practice. As a result, the initial taste was rather watery, but nevertheless refreshing considering if been out at the beach all day. As it warmed, some faint malt sweetness came out, as well as the lemongrass tones found in the aroma. I even detected some subtle spicy hops notes that were pleasant. The body was light and crisp.
I don't know much about this style, however, I wouldn't mind this one on a hot day as it is pleasantly thirst quenching. Also, unlike adjunct lagers, it has a decent malt and hops presence. Not bad at all.

Seving- bottle:

A) Nice white foamy head with fairly aggressive pour. Clear golden color. Medium carbination. Nice looking beer.

(S) Grass and mildly citrus.

(T) Clean lager like taste as it should be but with some creaminess. Mild hops. Nice malt character. Grain bill is medium-light. Good balance. N

(M) Medium head retention that lingers and helps overall body.

(O) Good. Expensive but worth the price if you compare this beer to watered down buds, coronas etc. Lagers and cream ales are my go to summer beers.

Serving - Keg: same as above but with a crisper and cleaner taste - as to be expected straight from a brite tank into a keg with cold transport/storage. ~+

L: Pours a very clear pale yellow-gold with a minimal head and active carbonation.

S: Extremely dry cracker-like malt with some DMS notes. Mild lemon notes.

T: Clean and semi-dry with mild graininess, some vegetal character and some lemon notes. Really innocuous and easy-drinking.

F: Light-medium body with prickly carbonation.

Thoughts: As far as pale lagers go, this one is pretty good.

Part of a variety 12-pack $13.99 Longs Drugs
Clear golden color
Light mouthfeel
Medium carbonation
Light refreshing taste, slightly sweet from malts
Overall a good beer to drink on hot days, but nothing really stands out. Closer to a macro brew taste than a craft beer.

In appearance it’s indistinguishable from the Big Wave or Wailua Wheat. There isn’t much of a smell, maybe faint citrus, but that’s about it. The flavor is faintly citrusy, light to medium malt body, not much hops, and a very crisp finish. The aftertaste is almost akin to a pilsener. This is a nice easy beer to drink, very sessionable, but not a whole lot of complexity in stark contrast to the Fire Rock Pale Ale.

Pours a crisp golden hue with a pillowy white head.

Smell has typical APL aromas with bread, malts, slight sweetness to the aroma with a hint of subtle hops.

Taste was straightforward with some bready malts, dough, slight sweetness, mild subtle floral hops notes also peak through. Its simple straightforward and actually pretty tasty.

Feel is light, crisp, clean and refreshing. Medium carbonation.

Overall a really nice APL. It tastes good, even if you somehow let it warm up. Not bad, not bad at all!
