This Lager poured a clear medium gold with a two finger white bubbly head building, poured into a Seidl glass. Good lacing!
The smell is the expected lager smell of malt, bread and hop.
Tasting the beer a malty front gets quickly influenced by bread and grain flavors. A mild hop is present for balance. A very nice and drinkable lager!

Sampled on-tap at the Gasthaus Greif in Forchheim, Germany. (Served in a stein krug.)

This Hell lager poured a clear amber color with sudsy, white foam that settled flat. The smell was modest: light malt. The taste was mildly malty with mild hoppiness. There was a touch of bready malt in the finish. The mouthfeel was smooth and dry with medium body and good carbonation. The dry, bready malt flavor lingered briefly in the aftertaste. This was a good helles lager.
