From a 16 oz can sampled on Feb 17, 2022.
It pours a slightly hazy yellow color under a modest, fading white head.
The aroma has a lot of barley grain, biscuit, and grass.
Light mouthfeel but still smooth.
The taste is sweet and grainy with a mild-moderate bitterness and dry ending.

Poured from a 16 oz can purchased directly from the brewery (super fresh). Pours a golden yellow with decent foamy head - one finger of head that remains but slowly dissipates. Great kolsch-like flavors. Solid beer.

Review based on a Pint can purchased from the brewery on 12/15/20
So far ModestMan has impressed me with their delicious NE hazy IPA's So I figured they would make one heck of a Kolsch, but honestly it falls a bit short of my expectations...
Sparkly clear golden color, fat white foam cover with layers of lace. It's all good...
Nice aromatics, bold sour maltiness, crisp golden wheat and grains, spring water and slight banana and cloves.... No prob....
Crispy, light mouthfeel and body with maybe a slickness way down that is a bit more relaxed eventually than I hope for...
Golden wheat malt is sour-edged and grainy, which is nice. Classic banana and herbal spices pop out without any adjuncts. Soft white pepper in the finish.
This Kolsch is about where it should be style wise, but I was hoping for a step up in the fun, maybe a dash more hop profile or wheat kick... Oh, well, it falls in at good, not great, with an overall ho-hum experience, a bit thin in flavor and feel gets a bit too flabby towards the end of the session. Drinkable for sure.

On tap at the source.
Lightly hazy medium gold in color with a thin white head that persists. Bready crackery malt. Light fruit and earth, bitterness a little strong but tasty nonetheless.
