Honey golden color, only a slight haze with an active carbonation from the yeast. Only a thin white cover of Lacy foam remains.
The nose: wild clover Honey soaked wheat, sour Clove and banana scented yeast, green herbs and veggies with fermented dates and raisins.
Mouthfeel is slick and long, Classic American version of a big Golden Belgian, the yeast just does not support the feel. The texture is malty, slick with a slight bit of dry earthiness.
The flavor is dominated by a honey slick malty charecter with banana and spices style yeast charecter that is simply not complex enough to support a big Belgian---ish style like this. Good by American standards, but falling seriously short by French and or Belgian standards of the style. Sour and sweet, cloying, slick and rich malt charecter dominates throughout.
ModestMan brewing in Keene New Hampshire is making some excellent NEIPA's, best in the area, but when it comes to Belgian styles... Let's let the Abby's do that.

Sample at the source.
Lightly cloudy deep golden color without much of a head. Sweet bready toasty maltiness is a little cloying. Spicy earthy yeast notes light higher alcohols as well as some ethanol. Decent but needs a bit of polish.
