Purchased from the brewery on 1/12/21. Opened and reviewed only minutes later.
Tasting notes on can: Citra and Vic Secret hops.
Expressive body/Aromatic spice/juicy tropical fruits/pillowy mouthfeel
Super thick white, milky haze deep and opaque in the straw golden liquid. Creamy white foam hat falls in slowly, but excellent cover. Lacy.
The nose has fresh leafy hop sap deeply embedded. Husky grains and spice rack with very sweet citrus and tropical fruit blend. Stanky.
Silky smooth mouthfeel is impressive, even more so... This style is typically a great feel, but this one has a fresh, spicy bite and then it's all smooth edges and lush. Along with the incredible mouthfeel and body texture is a wildly complex hop taste. Freshly picked hop cone aroma is intense in the flavor too... If you've ever crusher up fresh hop cones in your hand and gave it a big whiff you know exactly what I mean. Creamy tropical fruit sweetness with a hint of boozy heat has amazing complexity. Citrus with black and white pepper is intense within. The creamy grains of the malt just rolls around and keeps it all together.
This is a nice way to start '21!

From a 32oz growler, filled at the brewery four hours ago. Served in a spiegelau IPA glass.
Pours a murky, pale milky-gold with two fingers of whipped fluff. Retention is pretty good, leaving a heavy creamy cap and the odd dot of lacing. Looks like blenderized crap so, by NEDIPA standards, damn near solid gold.
Nose is sweet and fruity. Aroma of pineapple, peaches and whipped cream. Fucking yum.
Taste departs from the nose being boozy, brash and earthy, and bitter with the taste of underripe peels. Tasting underripe pineapple, apricot, grapefruit juice, grape skins, ethanol and cantaloupe.
Feel is juicy and relatively hefty bodied with fine, prickly carbonation. Finishes with an acidic smoulder in the gullet and… the sensation of having hop grit on my tongue must be just in my head, right?
Overall, it’s a big, brash and boozy, hop-burny fruit purée of a NEDIPA. Tastes and feels bigger than its stated 8.4% abv, for both better and worse.

Truly remarkable sauce from these masters of the style. I'm running out of complimentary notes for this brewer. Absolutely gorgeous looking beer, fresh citrus juices abound on the nose and then the palate. Perfectly balanced, incredibly smooth mouthfeel, and then a clean finish that's neither dry nor cloying. As with most of their beers, it can go down way too fast since every sip simply encourages another sip posthaste.

This beer rings my bell...
Grapefruit bomb without all that damn bitterness... citrus laced heaven in a glass...
Imagine going to Hawaii and picking off the freshest pineapple and orange and grapefruit you can find and juicing them...that combo is what's going on here...
This is the boss of the Modestman beers I've had so far and the Supreme boss of 97.5% of the hazy IPAs I've had...
I could plow through these fairly easily which isn't something I can say about others of the style. They get boring and repetitive but this..this...is the Sweeney Todd of hazies... quirky, dangerous and the music is terrific...
I'd love to have some more of this...

Pours a consistent and deep orange with an opaque, murky transparency. Head is two fingers of white foam. Aroma is mango, papaya, lemon, orange zest and faint grassy hops. It opens up with tropical fruits, which retain the focal point until the finish. Flavor profile is papaya, mango, guava, and orange zest. It leans heavily into tropical fruits, which create the entire drinking experience. They're even and consistent throughout, setting the volume knob on an even keel "6" throughout, as opposed to some that turn the volume up to 8+ at the start, but fade. The sustained presence of tropical fruits is great. Mouth feel is silty throughout, again forming a consistent and even texture on the tongue. Thickness is medium-thick. Overall, a really consistent and steadfast NE IPA that delivers no shortage of tropical fruits.

Beautiful looking beer. I shotgunned about 4 of these at the City In Seabrook New Hampshire before the clerks even noticed. I barely spilled any on the floor and one of them yelled at me. I was going to pay for them ; I was just really thirsty. They kicked me out and didn’t even charge me. Anyone else get a hint of apricot and mango?

Can from the Packie
Hazy murky electric yellow color is completely opaque, big frothy white head persists. Soft lightly pithy citrus and stone fruits with a solid light bready maltiness. Pretty nice brew.
