Sample at Derry after Dark
Lightly hazy deep yellow with a decent sized bubbly white head that slowly dissipates. Rich bready crackery maltiness with bits of spicy and floral hops to counter

Fresh from the brewery on 8/6/22
Opened and reviewed on same day
Look: classic, snappy gold color. Gentle white foam cap forms, falls, spreads out with minimal cover.
Nose: Spicy pils yeast, green garden veggies, slightly sweet bready malt and herbal mix.
Feel & Flavor: Crisp, light and clean with a slightly dry finish. Classic.
Herbal spice and mix of garden greens, gentle herbaceous hop, sweet bready malt in a gentle way with a rather tangy, herbal dry taste to finish.
Overall: I love this style, and MM does not disappoint with the execution. True to style balance and flavor profile with the big clean overall vibe I was hoping for and thankfully not too hoppy for the style

From a 32oz growler, filled at the brewery this afternoon. Served in a willi becher glass.
Pours a crystalline honey-gold with abundant visible carbonation and two-plus fingers of pouffy and puckered merengue-like fluff. Retention is excellent, leaving a fat, sudsy cap scattered wads of bubbly lacing.
Nose is vanishingly faint but something vaguely toasted grain-like, maybe Cheerios.
And it actually tastes a bit like Cheerios. Biscuity, toasted grain and black pepper, a little pear sweetness and a lot of ashtray. Dry with ashy bitterness.
Feel is smooth, round, medium-hefty bodied and brightly carbonated.
Overall, a serviceable enough beverage. In a nutshell: Cheerios, black pepper, ashtray. Edited to add: It grows on me and I’ve revised my initial scores upward.
Edited (again) to add 07/11/21: I've gotten either one or two growler fills of this beer every week for the past month - obviously it's better than my rating would seem to indicate. It's weirdly addictive - I'm raising my overall score yet again, this time from 3.75.
